We absolutely loved working with Eli from start to finish. As first-time homebuyers, we needed a very attentive realtor agent. We were fortunate enough to meet Eli at one of his open houses where he offered us his services.

Eli toured several homes with us and never once made us feel pressured to purchase a home that did not fit our requirements. When we found the right home, we asked Eli to contact the seller’s agent every week for four weeks until the seller was willing to negotiate the terms. My mom and I were referred to Eli by a family friend. We met Eli and actually started working with him before signing a contract. We felt very comfortable with him. We listened to all suggestions that Eli made regarding our house and setting it up for the best possible showing. Although we had to put a little bit of work into following the suggestions, we never once felt that the suggestions were off the mark or unnecessary. We always felt that Eli had our best interests at heart. We always felt we were important to him and were a priority with him. It was a really good feeling to know that he was on our side and always thought of ways to think “outside the box.”

Although our house was an older home (built in the late 50’s) and needed some major upgrades which we did not do, Eli had our house in escrow in less than a week and also had multiple offers above asking price. We were so happy! Eli was on the ball with the steps that needed to be taken and forms that needed to be filled out, and escrow was very smooth. The whole process was wonderful. There were times that my mom and I got scared but Eli always listened to us and talked us through the issue(s) and always made us feel good about the process.

After we sold our house, we were going to look for a house to buy in Lancaster. Eli was going to refer us to someone else but mom and I decided that we felt so good and comfortable with Eli that we wanted him to be our realtor in Lancaster, too. Eli did not know anything about Lancaster but quickly got the lay of the land and understood which areas we needed to look at and which areas we were to avoid.

Purchasing the house in Lancaster took much longer than selling our house in West Hills but Eli was super patient with us and always answered our questions and concerns. Eli was not only accessible at all times with the purchase of the house but he was the same when we sold our house. There were multiple issues regarding the purchasing of the house in Lancaster and mom and I got quite scared. There was a point where mom and I wanted to walk away from a house that we had put an offer on but Eli explained to us the benefits of not walking away and trusting him that he had our best interests at heart. Ultimately, we listened to Eli and were very happy that not only we did not walk away from the house but we were able to get it at a very good price (all Eli’s doing).

We really appreciated how Eli gave us his honest opinions and looked at situations through our lenses. We were able to ask him anything and he always answered. If he was not quite sure about an issue or how to handle it, he would consult with others and understand the issue and then get back to us with an answer that he knew was honest and real. No matter how busy he was with other clients, we never felt slighted or that he did not care about us. He always made us a priority.

All throughout the selling and purchasing of homes, mom and I felt that not only was Eli our realtor but he was a friend. He very quickly became our friend. We are in constant contact with him even though the purchase of the home has been completed for a while. We both value his opinion(s) and are very happy that he is in our lives.

There are no words to tell anyone how much we appreciate Eli and his hard work and how much we love that he has become a family friend. Anyone that hires Eli Kogman will have a wonderful experience and know that he works so hard on their behalf.
