This home is in a great location near Kanab's downtown, and in close proximity to so many national parks, national monuments and local gems. Our hobby is hiking and we were excited to stay in Kanab for the second time. Melissa was very responsive in meeting us to acquaint us with the property. Upon arrival a 10" snow storm also arrived. It kind of put a damper on hiking for a bit, but we didn't feel like we missed out on a thing. We enjoyed the comforts of the home including a fire pit, grill and access to the club house billiard table and indoor hot tub and pool. We were lucky enough to win the lottery to access "The Wave", but road conditions to the trailhead were reportedly sketchy. We asked Melissa if she had a shovel and tow strap available for our use in case of an emergency, and she was able to locate them for our use - above and beyond! We enjoyed use of the well equipped full kitchen (with some extras available from prior stays such as oil, plastic wrap, etc), washer and dryer, garage and spare bedrooms for guests. The place was very clean and new feeling. We still have more to explore in the Kanab area and will look to book "Under the Stars" again soon.
