My security deposit was 850. And I received back around only 360 after I cleaned everything literally. No damages or anything. They LIED and said they had to clean brand new carpet for 150 which I never messed up didn’t eat nor drink in the rooms. Was charged over 100 dollars to paint. Which was also a LIE. Had a bad roach infestation problem from the beginning.

Rented from one of their properties in Dothan. Did not know the area very well and found out within a week of renting the place that it was a very high crime area with heavy signs of criminal activity and noise at night. When I spoke to the property managers about not feeling safe on the property and changed my mind about living there, they had a very condescending attitude and spoke to me like I didn’t know what I was talking about. I hadn’t even fully moved into the property and was charged over $3000.00 for a lease buy out and every possible fee they could charge me. This is very bad business practice, they could have just kept my deposit and re rented because they have a waiting list to get in. No human touch or understanding whatsoever. If someone doesn’t want to live on your property and someone else does, make it available for someone else instead of making life he for somebody wanting to move out.

If I could leave zero stars I would. I sat right where you are a year ago, looking for a place to live. I had just gotten into medical school and I had a dog. Because most rentals lease August to August in Auburn, then only place I could find was with Evans for 900 dollars a month. 3 bed 3 bath.
When I first got to the office to pay my deposit and sign the lease, I was told I was not able to go look at the house before hand because they could not give me the keys to the house before the utilities were in my name. Which would have been fine had I been told that when I called the day before and told everything was fine and nothing else was needed from me. However after driving two hours and having the employees be rather rude and condescending I was rather upset to be paying over $2,000 on a house I'd never laid eyes on. When I asked if there was someone that could take me to see the house I was promptly told no.
They also make you resign your lease in January, but tell you at the time you're signing an intent to renew. It's all very vague.
We just broke the lease for next year we were essentially tricked into signing and it was worth every penny of two months rent and our deposit. Avoid these people at all costs. They are crooked and greedy. And you will lose money in the long run. Keep reading these reviews you'll see the majority have the same resounding sentiments.

Kristen was the best. She was very helpful with any and everything. She will be missed? The maintenance guy is nice, he comes right out to solve any issues I’ve had thus far. The new lady in the office is ruled, she has poor customer service skills.

This is the worst place the neighbors break things and damage property at 3am every weekend the parking spaces are overfull with people who dont have passes and if you park anywhere else you will be towed i have a 300$ water bill they refuse to fix because this place is scheduled for demolision theres bugs and they never get pest control they said it would be monthly, water smells like mildew. My ceiling is only 6' 5" and im 5' 10" when people walk upstairs its extremely loud and also constantly late at night. This place is trash most uncomfortable irritating place i have ever lived.
