This hotel is located at the beginning of Chinatown, very close to the F train (East Broadway) and the East River waterfront, which is beautiful and situated between two famous bridges - the Manhattan and Brooklyn bridges.

There are many dining options around the hotel, mostly serving Chinese food. It's easy to get to downtown Manhattan by bus, but note that the M15 stops near the hotel don't offer Select Bus Service. You'll need to walk two stops further to Madison Street.

The room was clean, well-maintained, and equipped with a microwave and fridge, but it was quite small - typical for Manhattan rentals. Also, the room was noisy due to the nearby Manhattan Bridge and frequent train traffic. To address this, the hotel provides a package with a sleep mask, earplugs, calming tea, and a thoughtful touch. Personally, I didn't have trouble sleeping, possibly due to being a native New Yorker (I lived in Brooklyn for over 11 years).

The hotel also offers a complimentary breakfast with limited but decent options, such as scrambled eggs and bacon.

I highly recommend this hotel for its great value and location.

We just spent 9 nights at the hotel (5 people). It is a good bargain for the price in Manhattan, very close to the F line subway which is very convenient to enjoy Manhattan, Brooklin and Queens. The rooms are quite big for Manhattan. The air conditioning is a little bit old and noisy. The beds are comfortable. The best in this hotel is the hotel staff. They were very king with us and always available. The breakfast is good and included in the room price. It worth it.

If I may say this is far most the worst hotel I have stayed in.
1. A 20 dollar bill came up missing that I placed in my work shoes. I stepped out to grab lunch to eventually coming back to my room where my money was taken.
2. The food is terrible worst I have had at any hotel
3. Staff is low and look very lost when working and answering questions. And also sum what rude.
4. I walked into the building to talk to the front desk staff and all I smelt was marijuana. He smelled like straight marijuana.
I stayed here the first week of February and as I’m looking for a hotel for a business trip, I wanted to make sure I left this comment.
Please no one stay here. It’s not worth it.

The food was terrible. Supposedly 3-star food, but served on paper plates with plastic cutlery. Maybe that's standard in the US, but for a European it's shocking. When there isn't enough food, no one brings more, or they bring frozen food. It was dirty. A small dining room and guests queued up for a place to sit and eat, sometimes standing up. Because there were also not enough chairs. A small plus for coffee and tea available around the clock. No safe in the room. The taste of artificial “scrambled eggs” was American, but it was clear from the beginning that the food in the USA is terrible.

Shout out to the super helpful and friendly front desk staff, Ryanna and Shawn. I saw their interaction with other guests too and they were great. Easy check in process, rooms and food are what's expected at a Fairfield, nothing amazing but location is close to everything especially if you're site seeing Chinatown and downtown Manhattan. If you're a light sleeper bring earplugs, sound proofing isn't the best, but I've had the same issue with almost every hotel I've stayed at by traffic.

We stayed for 4 nights during the Christmas period and chose this hotel because it was the only one with decent reviews that cost under $1000 for my family. Overall, we had a pleasant stay. The staff is (almost all) friendly and helpful—special shoutout to Ryanna, who was fantastic. The rooms are small (but we expected that), and the mattress is incredibly comfortable, which is a big plus.

The biggest area for improvement is the breakfast—it’s very basic and lacks variety. It takes very little to realize how poor it is, and I can’t understand why management wouldn’t make a small investment to drastically improve the experience.

The location is convenient, with the metro station nearby, making it easy to get around. While there’s room for improvement, especially with breakfast, the overall experience was decent, and I would recommend to my friends if breakfast quality would be improved

We stayed at this hotel for a few days of sightseeing and an event and for this occasion it's very well suited. The surrounding isn't the nicest and the smell in the area is rather not enjoyable, but the proximity to the metro (F and A/J lines) and the budget friendliness in pricing makes up for it. We were only there to sleep anyways.
The rooms are nice and clean with a large shower and large king bed. Everything was working as intended in the room. The breakfast buffet is standard for Fairfield Inns as budget locations and coffee and tea are served all day. They rotate the warm breakfast for some variety. Staff is friendly and helpful-

Stayed 4 nights and really don’t have anything to complain about. I mean walking to and from there were areas that didn’t smell great but that was everywhere. Staff was all helpful and kind. Room was a decent size. Access to the subway was very easy. We chose this location because it was walking distance to our event. I’d prefer to stay more mid-town for personal travel. But if you are looking for a more budget friendly option this is a great choice.
