Cool room. Good vibe. Loved the Copper, wood fire pizza over that was visible from the entire room. Great local beer menu. Food is slightly above the average pub grub. On the night we were there, service was super slow. Servers blamed a new cook, but it took 20 minutes for someone to stop by our table to take our drink order. We placed our order then and there. It was a two hour ordeal...for a two top. I felt bad, a four top a few tables over - three of the four were served. The fourth had to wait 15 minutes until his order arrived. Not bad for the only place in town.

We had the clam chowder which was fantastic. We ordered the fungus umungus pizza and wings which were also great. Pizza wasn't consistent in the past but has gotten much better. Staff is great. Atmosphere is fantastic. Highly recommend reservations as it gets packed!

Fat Crow is like coming home. The food is well prepared and delicious, the cocktails are top notch, the staff remember me and what I like…it feels like family. I’ve not had a bad meal there, so I recommend everything. All this makes me not mind the country playlist, and that’s saying something.

A total go-to! Their pizzas are fabulous...and so are their salads! I've had other great dishes there (yellow curry...yum!), but can't deny that I go there for pizza and salad...and a great cocktail! Very friendly, fun atmosphere. If you are looking to hang out and don't have a bar seat on a busy night, you HAVE to get a reservation and you will get a specific amount of time at your table before you're booted for the next rez...FYI

We had such a wonderful experience at The Fat Crow! We called last minute hoping to get a reservation and almost weren’t able to, but their hostess, Michelle, truly went above and beyond to accommodate us. She was upfront about not being able to guarantee seating but kindly offered takeout as an alternative. To our surprise, she called us back shortly after, letting us know about a cancellation and that she could seat us that night. Her thoughtfulness and sweet personality made us feel so welcomed before we even arrived.

Once we got there, the exceptional service continued. Everyone was incredibly friendly, especially Elizabeth behind the bar. She made us fantastic drinks, checked in on us throughout the evening, and her warm, attentive service helped make it a memorable night. Both Michelle and Elizabeth’s hospitality made it the perfect way to celebrate my husband’s birthday.

On top of the outstanding service, the food was absolutely delicious! The White Prosciutto pizza was definitely a hit, and we couldn’t get enough of the steak tips, burrata platter, and mussels. Everything was flavorful and perfectly prepared.

Huge thank you to Michelle and Elizabeth for making our evening so special. We truly appreciated their kindness and incredible service. We’ll definitely be back!

Food was good halibut with dirty rice was excellent. The muscles with white wine and garlic were disappointing without much flavor. The clam chowder had strong taste of bacon which was unusual. Beer selection was good. Would definitely go

Located in Quaint Newfane VT, The Fat Crow has been a hit with the locals and visitors. We were well taken care of from the moment we walked in. The food was great. Good Comfort food. The atmosphere was great. The bartender Michelle made perfect martinis. Make sure to make a reservation or be prepared to wait... They get crowded for a reason!

We travel to NH & VT every 4 weeks or so and we make a day of it. That means looking for a new cool restaurant each time.

Sadly, for the past several months, we have tried and tried multiple restaurants and ALMOST EVERY SINGLE ONE has been a disappointed...until this past weekend.

I searched about a 25 mile radius of the Brattleboro, VT area for unique restaurants. After a couple hours I found the Fat Crow and sent the information to my wife. She happily agreed to try it.

What a GREAT choice! Just looking around the restaurant, it has a great welcoming & eye-catching feeling to it.

Not only did they have many interesting items on the menu, but they actually HAD everything on the menu. So many times we've stopped at a restaurant based solely on their menu. However, when we ordered what we had been excited to try for weeks, we were told that they're out of that menu item. What a letdown.

That changed this past weekend.

We ordered the mussels, clam chowder, steak, and pork tacos. The mussels were very good. The "Award Winning" clam chowder was just that! Wow!!! Her pork tacos were awesome and my steak was PHENOMENAL!

Behind the bar is a really cool looking pizza oven and we considered buying a pizza (lots of cool choices for pizzas too!) just to take home. After contemplating a few minutes we agreed to save the pizza for our next trip to NH & VT, because we enjoyed the Fat Crow so much we're going there for our next trip.

If you haven't tried the Fat Crow...try it, you'll love it!
