We have been leasing our residence from FBS for a few years now. Our experience has been great. My family and I recently leased up with FBS Property Management Company. From start to finish, Natalie was so helpful and professional, and went above and beyond to make sure everything went smoothly. Just to add, we are a military family and were not yet even living in the area, so I had LOTS of questions. Also, the online portal is 100% user friendly (whew!). Beware. Read all of the reviews and talk to current renters if possible. They do, in fact, make up bogus reasons to keep your deposit. They also lied to the property owner about a black mold issue that I made them aware of, and they asked me not to point it out to any prospective tenants that I may cross paths with as I was moving out.

I have been renting from FBS for about 6 years and, while there were a couple of speed bumps in the earlier years, I have really noticed a steady stream of improvements to their portal and they do their very best to handle maintenance requests expediently and thoroughly. I've experienced great customer service from them and I'd definitely say they are better than the average property rental team. I do have a peace of mind, though, renting through FBS. I know that any maintenance needs that arise will be addressed and remedied. (Now if only rents could stop going up every year.....but I think that's less about FBS and more about the systemic realities of an investor dominated real estate market)

This location was amazing. Perfectly located between Little Italy and Gaslamp. The walk in either direction is 10 min max. The view was really nice with awesome sunsets over downtown. The unit itself was very spacious and is well kept. You have a gated parking spot which was very helpful, you can street park as well it was not bad. It is definitely a unit to look at, if i wasn’t in the buying market i would have stayed here.

I'm surprised by all of the negative reviews here because FBS has been the best property management company I leased from while living in San Diego. I really appreciated the personal interaction from Stephen during the entire process: from the initial tour, to the day we picked up our keys, and all the way through the end of our lease in which we received our entire security deposit back. I feel like FBS actually cared about me as a person and not just another tenant. The lease is extremely straightforward and the move-out inspection was very thorough as well. I would rent from FBS again in a heartbeat!
