Renters left my home in a disaster. They failed to clean up after themselves. I had to pay to post move out cleaning done. This was not done to completion and firework debris was left by my shed along with other junk in shed. First property instead of resolving this blamed the renters and said I did not pay them enough to do a good job of cleaning. The renters that were put in my house were some of the most lazy human beings. They destroyed property and even bounced a check. They never kept up the yard well. There was clearly no inspections done. I had to pay to have the grass cut and the vendor sent by first property cut the wrong yard several times. I don’t recommend this company they have many excuses and little actual accountability. This company does not even deserve a star but it was not possible to leave a review without leaving them a star. This is more that they deserve. These renters that first property put in the home need to go live in a barn somewhere because they act like a animals.

Could not show up for appointments, or let you know they are not coming ,charges application fees every 90 days, houses are dirty other then the day they take photos. Always blames someone else including the person looking as to why they can't keep track of application or appointment 🙄. Looked at one place the didn't show up to appointment door wide open squatters had been in there blood and needles in floor called to let them know and door remained open they didn't care trash all in basement hallway had been boarded up and rent on this place was 950. Price was not the issue upkeep and safety was of high concern.

Worst place I have ever and I mean ever rented from. They scammed me big time but I gave them the benefit of the doubt because it was my first time renting. I moved out at the end of my one year lease and apparently I owed them $2,777 plus a move out inspection which was not stated in the lease. I called and Bonita said she doesn’t understand why it’s that much and it should even be above 700 which is also wrong. They don’t communicate what so ever I kept getting texts about my balance and every text sent was a different balance. My rent was $575 and they charged me $677 every month and would come up with dumb things when I asked why they charged me way over what I was supposed to pay. I had a broken window, 2 broken closet doors, a broken heat/ac unit, and when I bought a window ac unit because my apt was 95° they refused to take the $200 I spent off my rent. My landlord said she would fix these problems (all on text) and NEVER did. She wouldn’t answer phone calls and would text back literally a month later but text other tenants the same day they texted her. I spoke with everyone at those apartments and they’re experiencing the same things. I had to use small heaters for winter due to no heat and the emergency heat was continuously running so my power bill was $1000 and they refused to help. We presented this in court and the landlord said that I could just use plastic wrap on my windows. If I could give this hell hole no stars at all I would. Please for the love of god do not rent from here. The other reviews are accurate.

We moved into our apartment about 3 weeks after we were supposed to because our “move in” ready apartment was not ready. The apartment was also infested with bed begs prior to us moving in. Our apartment manager, Fran, refused to do anything about the infestation and told us that WE were the ones responsible for getting rid of the bed bugs when they were there before we moved in (We obviously weren’t told about the infestation). Only after serious talks with lawyers did First Property Solutions step up to offer help…… 6 MONTHS INTO OUR LEASE. I guess they realized what they were doing was ILLEGAL. This company preys on families and individuals looking for a place to live by moving them in unfit units and attempting to illegally force the new tenant to combat the company’s ongoing pest problems (our complex was filled with 6 other tenants that they tried to trick the same way). If this is a Christian company then they sure will have some questions to answer come Judgment day.

This company only cares about money and refuses to fix anything that is wrong in the apartments they rent out in Sophia, WV. They added additional fees that were not discussed before signing the lease. Upon moving in, they had a roach problem and leaks that they promised to fix. After living in the apartment for 3 months, the air was not fixed because they said it was not important because it's winter, even after we explained we needed air due to medications we take. They still did not fix the leaks that were there before we moved in. It was also brought to their attention that when changing light bulbs they would instantly blow and that the plug in facings would spark. It was also reported to them that all of the plug-in face plates needed to be tightened or replaced because all cords would fall out of the plug-ins; these concerns were also ignored. There is a monthly inspection fee. They require a monthly inspection to be done and have the tenant pay the fee for them to come and inspect. If you are in need of a place to rent- please avoid this company!

BED BUG INFESTATION LOCATIONS
Discrimination towards tenants. Will relocate certain tenants based on status and not all tenants that ask for relocation. Maplewood apartments are infested with bed bugs and have been for over a year. First property will lie and move tenants into "move in" ready apartments that you will have to clean and tody up. They charge the tenants for extermination fees and have most WV courts and lawyers in their pockets. So good luck suing for damages and distress. They prey on first time renters and families in need of living arrangements, that way your in a bind once you sign your lease. Maintenance will destroy your apartment upon "fixing" whatever issue you report only for it to be ignored by the property managers. Getting in touch with ANYONE in charge is a hassle. We reported issues in August of 2020, that were halfway taken care of but after 6 months of complaining. The problem arised again and the company beat around the bush for 3 more months.

I contact the company the first day the unit came was posted. To schedule a viewing. I was told it wasn't ready for viewing and that they would call me when it was. I never received the call. The next time I called I was told them that I wanted the property. They informed me that I had to fill out the application. Which I did. And I requested to view the property once again. And never got a date. When I finally did get a date with you a month later. They're going to show me the property that they have already rented to someone else after giving me the run around for over a month. And the way that I found out that it was rented was the person who rented it. I was standing outside waiting for them to come to show me the property. After they texted me 3 different times not to forget about my viewing. and they never showed so I called and was told it was already rented after they're making me appointment to see it the day before. I have requested a refund and was told they will call me directly back. 4 days has gone past and I have yet to hear from them. Beware of this company. They don't hold up there end of the agreement.

Apartment was not move in ready. I went without heat for 10 days and then they acted like they were doing me a favor when I demanded that my rent be pro rated. The refrigerator didn't work. There were still dishes from previous tenant. Half of my windows don't have screens, so its my responsibility. They tried to charge me a reinspection fee for a missing light cover that never existed. They just don't care about people. The only reason I live here is because its close to both jobs and the apartments are actually nice.
