Went here on a Saturday morning. Parking was easy to find and not too busy.

We did a 4 mile hike along the reserve. There's various trails along the way. We took one that took us to the top of the hill in a small forested area. Trails weren't too hard to go through. Some steepness on certain parts, but nothing too challenging. The downhill was a challenge for me since I've had knee surgery (torn meniscus and replaced patela), so I used hiking sticks and took my time. Really nice wood-themed benches and chairs along the way and nice views of the beach.

Overall, definitely worth doing a nice walk along the cliffs or do the more challenging hikes on the hills.

It was our first visit to Fiscalini Ranch Preserve. We enjoyed walking the trail with our Millie (Labrador Retriever). We took in the views from some of the unique driftwood benches. We plan to return when everything is in full bloom.

Insane in the membrane! In the best of ways imaginable. We came less than 50 feet from not one but three elk. We saw a grown adult deer about a minute after this encounter. Elk, here, rare and a moment we will never forget. This ranch is beautiful. Transition from rolling fog to sun and then fog again was amazing. Watching hawks circle above was awe inspiring and kept our small dogs on close watch. Just amazing. The locals are so helpful and friendly. Respect the land and it respects you back, a given. The Tide pools were ridiculously healing. Only can wish there was water in LA County that would warrant a visit or dip into the water. AS such is not the case, we always head up the coast.

Super beautiful bluff trail. Most of it is walking on a boardwalk. You can take other trails on more hilly areas.

Fiscalini Ranch Preserve was the most scenic beachside walk I have taken so far on the California coast! I know that sounds bold to say, but it is true! I believe along my 10 mile nature walk I saw many species of birds, seals, plants, ground squirrels, lizards, and I believe I may have seen a whale spout in the distance. There were hand crafted beach benches carefully placed along the walkways they were made of drifwoods , and redwoods. My family and I walked along the carefully cultivated paths for hours..ahhh..what a peace walk. I came away cleansed and renewed. Highly recommended for nature enthusiasts.
