We are first time renters here at Forest Park Apartments, they have made it such an easy process. Carl was super helpful and responded efficiently. He is very personable and friendly. I only spoke with Carl throughout the whole process where at other places I spoke with 3. We got approved within 3 days of applying.

I have been renting for approximately 6 years and this has to be the worst place I have lived/still live at. I have only been at this property for 6 months.
Ever since I moved in I’ve had issues with staff and maintenance. To start off when I moved in, I noticed that the entire apartment slants, one big spill and everything goes towards the wall to the right because of the slanted flooring. The paint is so cheap you can chip paint with a small scratch from your fingernail. They shut off the water constantly and majority of the time you won’t even receive an email. Any issues you have with the washers and dryers, you have to call on your own and send a maintenance request. It takes weeks for someone to come out and the management refuses to help tenants with issues regarding the washers and dryers. I have been having issues with suspected mold in my bathroom, just to hear that my maintenance request didn’t even be out in, after calling Karl, who is the worst staff member there, multiple times. I cannot tell you how many maintenance requests were never put in, and I had to try to fix things on my own instead.
Getting a hold of management is extremely hard, especially if you ask Karl to leave a message for them.
The garbage is absolutely horrendous every week. (Will provide photos.)
They charge you valet trash with no garbage can to utilize so your trash actually gets taken out.
My door has enough room on the bottom for lizards to flow in (which has happened multiple times.)
Now an issue I requested to get fixed three weeks ago, has gotten worse and seeped through the wall of my closet in my bedroom and caused six loads worth of clothes to be soiled. I have emailed the owner of the company 6 times, I have emailed both the property manager and the assistant. I have called four times and left voicemails. It has been approximately 8 hours since I requested immediate assistance with absolutely no call or email back.
This place does not care for you and your family’s well being or mental health. You will stress and stress living here and receive only apologizes with no consequences of the mistreatment you receive.
If I can do anything to help someone out, it’s to read this review and stay VERY FAR AWAY from this company. Please save yourself the stress of living in a place that isn’t cared for properly.

So far we've had a great experience. Carl Kosek was a great aid to us in the lease and move-in process. He's always been very engaging and responsive in all matters. They have newly remodeled apartments, cozy and very pleasing to the eye. Good amenities, from gym to pool to dog parks.

I don't understand all these negative reviews. I have lived here almost 2 months and have found the staff to be caring and wonderful.
Yes, the downstairs apartments can get the noise from upstairs people walking heavy, but it's like that almost everywhere you go.
Any issues with the apartment are addressed promptly and the staff have been nothing but kind.
It's an older build and people have to remember that. Be realistic.

Management/leasing office made everything a breeze from the start! From scheduling a same day appointment to take a tour and view open units, to applying and through the application process, to then signing the lease agreement electronically, and finally receiving keys and moving in. Geneva and Carl really kept us connected by emails and phone calls throughout the application process and were always available to answer any questions we had regarding the applications or the electronic signature documents for the lease agreement. It was a pleasure to have their support and dedication to making our move in happen!
