I have lived here for about seven months and aside from one loud neighbor i've had a pretty good experience. The downside is, rent went up and so did the prices to wash and dry clothes. I've had to lug my laundry to relatives houses to avoid spending 2.50 a load. The new management has done a good job with maintenance issues and really tries hard to keep the grounds clean and safe. Overall, it's about average.

I have lived at Garden Court West Apartments for three plus years. It is like a real community, the Management team is great to work with. The Maintenance man is Johnny on the spot, does a great job. The Office Manager really cares about the people, is great to work with. The grounds, and pool are neat and tidy. I would give this complex a 5 star.

Since the new management came in, and the landlord that lives here, things pretty much suck. There's favoritism here, and if you're not buddies with the landlord, expect her to:

1) Spy on you, your kids, and whatever conversations you have;
2) Make your rent so high it's unreal to pay it and your other bills; and
3) Do everything they can to place any fine on you so you can go bankrupt or leave the property.

Also, you have to pay $2.50 per load of laundry, or $60± to get a washer and dryer in your unit, plus the rent is over $800 a month. Take it from me, this is NOT a place to live, with all its run-down crappyness.
