Management at Garden Pointe is lacking in professionalism & empathy for their tenants. Their unnecessary urgency to remove vehicles from the lot clearly causes tenants & their guests a lot of distress. The tow yard is 20 miles from the low income neighborhood where this complex is situated. The staff in the office have an "us vs them" mentality, & they will make that very clear if you attempt to file any formal or informal complaints. I have heard management gossip on the phone about tenants, shrug and scoff at complaints, and make otherwise unprofessional comments regarding my own personal situation. If you as a tenant have broken any minor rules, expect to be notified in the form of an eviction notice. As far as parking rules, you will be allowed only 48 hrs of guest parking per week. There are about 12 or so guest spaces, which are often occupied by tenants who have second cars & don't want to pay $75 for a second tag. The streets surrounding the grounds are littered with busted furniture, derelict cars, & broken glass. This is where you & your guests will be expected to park should all the spaces be full, or you use up your allotment. There is allegedly a nightly "courtesy patrol" which is only meant to prevent people from parking illegally, do not expect them to prevent any vandalism or theft of your vehicle. There are no security measures in place to protect tenants, only their parking spaces. The maintenance staff is pleasant & polite, but the grounds have issues all over. Filthy hallway carpets, dog feces everywhere, poor drainage leading to flooding in some areas. If you have an issue with large dogs, this place does not enforce breed restrictions as advertised. If your desired amenities include a hot tub, keep looking. The pool room is a big construction project. There is also nowhere for kids to play here.

The unit price is not worth what you will be dealing with if you even slightly slip up at this place. They hate their tenants.

THIS PLACE IS A TOTAL SCAM!

If you’re thinking about moving to Garden Pointe, DON’T. They are running a full-blown towing racket here. My husband parked in a visitor spot for ONE HOUR, plenty of other spots open—and still got towed. And guess what? It cost $600+ to get the car back!!

This isn’t some accident or mistake—this is a scam. The office manager is apparently dating the tow truck driver, so it’s pretty clear they’re cashing in on this. And to make it worse? She conveniently leaves the office, so there was no way to fight it. That’s straight-up shady.
This place is a joke. If you like getting robbed for no reason, go ahead and move in. Otherwise, stay far away.

I recently moved into Garden Point Apartment Complex, and I couldn't be happier with my decision! From the moment I stepped onto the property, I was impressed by the beautifully landscaped grounds and the welcoming atmosphere.

The staff is incredibly friendly and attentive, always willing to help with any questions or concerns. The leasing process was smooth and straightforward, making my transition seamless. My apartment itself is spacious, modern, and well-maintained, with high-quality appliances and plenty of natural light.

One of my favorite features is the community amenities. The pool area is perfect for relaxing on sunny days, and the fitness center is well-equipped for all my workout needs. Plus, the location is fantastic—close to shopping, dining, and parks, making it easy to enjoy everything the area has to offer.

Overall, Garden Point is more than just an apartment complex; it feels like a community. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a comfortable and enjoyable living experience!

Shady towing practices at Garden Pointe—beware!

I’ve been hearing more and more stories about people getting their cars towed at Garden Pointe Apartments for no good reason, and it’s honestly ridiculous. My cousin visited, parked in a visitor spot (with plenty of others open), and still got towed within an hour. The worst part? It cost him $600+ to get their car back.

From what I’ve seen in reviews and heard from residents, this seems to be a pattern. Apparently, the office manager has some kind of deal with the tow company (and even a personal connection to the driver), which makes this whole thing feel like a scam.

This isn’t just bad management—it’s straight-up predatory. If you’re thinking about living here, just know that parking is a nightmare, and you might end up paying hundreds for no reason. Definitely something that needs to be investigated.

Terrible management, there’s still smeared feces on one of the hallway walls. They said if you take a photo of someone’s pet taking a crap near your space, they’ll take 50$ off your rent (very much a lie, many photos have been sent and complaints, no action taken.) Overpriced too! A small 1 bedroom apartment is about 2k, the dryers make an obnoxiously loud buzzard noise for about 10 seconds, it will scare the crap out of you. But hey, you can get a free show there! There’s always some neighbors fighting, a drunk old man walking around yelling absurdities and MANY creeps.

I had an extremely disappointing experience with Garden Pointe Apartments. I visited a resident for just a few hours, parked in a clearly marked visitor spot (with over 10 other spots available), and still had my car towed. I was charged an outrageous $607 to retrieve my SUV, and it was taken all the way to Federal Way.

After looking into it further, it’s clear this isn’t an isolated incident—many others have had their cars towed under similar circumstances. It’s highly concerning that the office manager reportedly has a personal relationship with the tow truck driver, raising serious ethical and legal concerns about whether this is a deliberate cash grab. Even worse, she conveniently left the office early on a Friday, ensuring that I had no choice but to pay the excessive towing fee directly to the company.

This type of predatory behavior is not just irresponsible but outright dishonest. It’s a scam that needs to be investigated, and I intend to report it to the proper authorities as a potential racketeering practice. No one should have to worry about being unfairly towed. I strongly urge anyone considering moving here to think twice—this is not how a reputable apartment complex should be run.

I lived here for 12 years at first the management wasn't very good but the new manager is awesome maintenance is awesome you don't have to wait long to get anything fixed there on that we have indoor year round pool and hot tub which is great the grounds are clean not a lot of crime around here but overall I if I can give it 20 throws I would it's a great place to live that's why I've been here for 12 years. Highly recommend this place.
