I lived at GATEWAY COURT for several years. Time to buy something. On my way out, I'd like to thank Ms Dorothy, the manager, who has been here FOREVER. She has always been firm, but FAIR. My roommate and I learned that rules enforcement in a community is necessary, and we got our knuckles smacked a few times. Would I live here again? ABSOLUTELY! Thanks for everything, Ms Dorothy.

BEWARE: I reached out online and Dorothy (onsite manager) responded later and at first it was great. She followed up and i showed up on a Sun. The apartment is absolutely beautiful, everything I wanted so I quickly began to process right there ($30). Very smooth but I can tell she was those strict old lady types and questioned everything going on, nice to some ppl and stared down other tenants (oh u're not supposed to do that!) I played it cool because I really wanted the place. We talked and she even agreed to discount me the place which is amazing. She ran my credit and she agreed to give me the place and really took interest in me saying she's proud of me this that. I asked if she wanted me to give her the deposit (holding/security $700). They deal in cash and personal checks which is also a breeze. We arranged for my return the same evening in which I did right before Superbowl ended as to avoid traffic. Upon arriving it seems all changed. Took her 20 mins to come to the gate. We began talking about local venues etc and it's been great communication thusfar: What brings me here, etc. etc. I did mention my history and how I got here with such good credit including beating/dealing with personal struggles in my past.

THEN She then starts to get disrespectful and warn me she's gonna call the cops on me if I am to smoke, be noisy, or if i forget to take my medication kinda thing (doing the cuckoo thing with her hands) and keeps asking me if i get depressed. In her mind then she starts trying to disqualify me. She then tells me personal accounts of smoking or alcoholism. This goes on for 30 mins and my email with bank statements/paystubs she says she is not receiving. I drove back forth 2x=160+ miles to get this done. I ask if she can use her printer which she refuses and then starts to deny me saying there r other tenants applying all of sudden and tries to deny me bringing back the printouts the next day/week cuz she's busy with friend's kid's party blah blah although initially she more than wanted me to return during the week LOL. She claims it's not personal cuz my past but says she cannot hold my apartment anymore but has to keep the money. FOR WHAT I grabbed it back. BY THE WAY she says "the management company" can also reject your application after she approves it in which you LOSE your holding deposit. Unheard of. Waste of time and effort with my credit being run and $30 for nothing- almost lost $700 more. They are under APA Investments Inc
