I wanted to take a moment to share my positive experience with Romeo and his maintenance team. During my two years living here, I've encountered several issues—both urgent and non-urgent—and they consistently responded promptly and efficiently. Romeo, in particular, stands out for his friendliness and professionalism. He always greets me and my dogs warmly, checks in on how I’m doing, and follows up to ensure any issues have been resolved. His helpful and personable approach truly makes a difference, and I’m grateful for the excellent service they provide.

I am a current resident now for 3 years and quite frankly, I could not be more pleased. Reading through the reviews of past residents was interesting to say the least. We moved in when it was still Avalon so I concur with some of the issues presented as well as am surprised at others. While with Avalon we quickly realized that as seniors we would be priced out very quickly and was actually planning to move out after a year when an affordable housing option came with new management. Right now that has been a lifesaver for us. To be sure some of the issues raised have been legitimate. But everything depends on perspective. And when a major drawing card of a potential apartment is the maintenance crew it can't be all bad. Moreover, it's been less than 2 years since new management took over. Sure we have heard it getting louder and a tad dicier and a few hounds of the Baskervilles but our corner is serene, quiet, fairly safe, A FLAWLESS MAINTENANCE CREW and sweet but quiet folks around us. But what warned my heart one day was seeing a senior in the front office. Of course it's not Utopia but I hope we can stay here as long as we can!!

Living here is completely not enjoyable. Aside from the pest problem the other tenants and their kids are not pleasant. The rules are no minors in the pool yet every weekend kids are left unattended, throwing rocks in the pool clothes and shoes all over the place and in the pool! And management does nothing to help. Ive called the company security and it's just a voicemail. If moving was an option I would. Packages get stolen left and right. Management's idea of solving the problem is to close down all amenities, for everyone! So we all suffer not only the tenants that should be getting consequences. I hate it here. Ghetto. Zero stars

I came over a month ago and put a security deposit down for a family member. Turns out my family member did not get approved for the unit, the guy who helped us said I would get my deposit back. It has been over a month and I still have not gotten my money back. I have reached out to these people, left messages and emails. The guy who helped us said that corporate is aware and they will try to send it soon…. Now I am now being ignored. Watch out for this place super shady how they make you pay with a money order.

I want to leave a great review as maintenance was generally quick to respond but had a few issues towards the 2nd half of my lease. On a positive note, I love the landscaping at this complex, it is tended to every single week. Decent unit square footage for the price. The pool is heated. Now as for the cons, in apartment 506, I had a mice and mold issue. This was due to some gaping holes in my vent unit, sink pipes and bathroom vanity crevices. Maintenance and pest control came over to set some traps, days after I filed my complaint. So by the time they arrived, I’d already caught one of the mice with traps I purchased. Maintenance said they would come to patch up any access points to prevent mice from crawling into the apartment. They came by 2 weekdays later (after I had filed an additional maintenance request). I had caught 2 extra mice by the time they arrived to patch up holes in my unit. And by patching up, I mean steel wool was placed in the heating vents to deter mice, and they placed foam to seal the gaps in the vanity pipes and boards. During this time, maintenance discovered mice droppings in my cabinets. All they did was wipe the droppings away. No professional cleaning was offered so I did end up cleaning my apartment by hand and finding more mice droppings and urine stains! I also had to launder my entire closet. The mold issue was inconclusive. Never did find the root cause but my bathroom cabinets just had a lot of humidity to them and slippery black spots. Maintenance came to spray it down. And said they would return in a month to check. They did not. I additionally was a little disappointed with the hot tub amenity. It was only open for a couple months of my 13 month lease and closed indefinitely. There was also a shift away from having an office administrator on site during business hours. You have to schedule in advance to see a live person or call their phone number.

To start with, I want to give a big shout-out to Romeo and the maintenance team, these guys are doing their best try to keep this place up. They're very friendly and helpful.

Other than that, what I have to say is that this place has gone downhill. I used to LOVE living here until last year. It was an Avalon community and the management was great, every time I had an issue they would just reply to my email and solve it right away. But this year a different company took over and it became a mess. So many disrespectful people moved in, they park in the red zones or even in the assigned spots. A couple days ago I arrived home at night and there was a car in my parking spot. The neighbors don't pick up after their dogs, there is dogs mess and flies everywhere, I can't even leave my balcony door open for 5 minutes because flies will come in, the neighbors throw big parties in the barbecue and pool area with a lot of guests and steal packages. And there is no camera!! It's just out of control. If you have an issue and you email the property manager, don't wait for a reply or solution. I have been asking them to update my information on Amazon Hub lockers so I would be able to pick up my packages but I never get an answer.

Sink in our kitchen was leaking & the next day Arnaldo had it fixed and was in and out! Management is always responsive and are really friendly.

I would recommend this apartment if I didn't like someone. If you're looking for a quiet, peaceful place, this place is not for you. If you do decide to move here, better expect rodent issues (watch out for fleas) and ant problems that will never go away, loud neighbors, and planes flying over. Ladies, guard your undergarments because some psycho is stealing them. There are no security cameras in the laundry facilities. The office staff is super nice but couldn't wait to move out of this place.
