I cannot say enough wonderful things about Grand Welcome and their above-and-beyond customer service! During my stay, I accidentally left my wallet behind. Not only did Fay quickly find it, but they went out of their way to contact me and ensure it was safely returned. They even mailed it back promptly, with everything intact, including all my cards, cash, and pearl earrings.

This kind of integrity and care is rare and truly speaks to the kind of company grand welcome is. The house had a stunning view and was spotless. If you’re looking for a place to stay in San Diego with spectacular hospitality, look no further. Highly recommend!

I stayed at an VRBO in Solana Beach to celebrate my 40th birthday and it was absolutely amazing! Fay and Thaier amazing team duo by the way, made my stay feel extremely welcoming and were always available if I had any questions/comments/concerns. This condo exceeded my expectations! The view was absolutely beautiful, I felt like I was in heaven! Fay and her team are the most caring and carry the outmost professionalism. Extremely reliable and you can tell they are committed to their mission in providing an exceptional vacation getaway experience. Very compassionate and understanding. I will definitely be contacting them again, and I just feel that I was meant to find the Kinayas for my future vacations adventures! Fay and Thaier have been outstanding Super Hosts and have taken great care of our Condo in Oceanside. We were away for 9 months in 2024/2025. and arrived back and the place was immaculate!! There is absolutely no trace of the 25+ vacation rental guests we had here other than expected minimal wear. They take the initiative to make sure the property looks great, and the cleaners are the best we've had here. They go above and beyond when something is needed at the property. The linens, towels, bed sheets all look like when you check into a hotel.

We quickly needed a new Vacation Rental Management company for our one bedroom condo in Oceanside. I was new to this 5 years ago and assumed my previous local Manager was marketing our property as well as possible. When you switch PMs you lose all previous reviews and we had over 100 5 stars that stayed with the previous Manager, but it did not make any difference. We hired Fay and Thaier in March, stayed until June 7th, and had guests arrive the same day we left and met our revenue goals for 2024!

The property is ideal, and about 3 blocks from the beach/pier. I called about 10 local firms that did not really express much desire or hustle. When I called Fay at Carlsbad, Grand Welcome franchise, she answered the phone, was very personable, and gave us multiple references to check on. All of them were like us, out of state, and using Short Term Rentals to supplement living here part time. All references were right on the money, These folks are great, hire them for your STR unit.

Fay and her team have been managing my home in Carlsbad for the last two months, and I've been blown away by how well they treat my home. Her care and commitment to quality really shows up in how she set up the listing, how she prepares the listing for every guest, and in the reviews that we get after the guests check out.

One thing that wasn't immediately clear to me is Grand Welcome's role in the partnership. From what I can tell, they are the corporate office, and Fay and team are on the ground actually taking care of the home. Grand Welcome was a little frustrating at onboarding time because of their slow and unhelpful responses, as well as extra fees charged to guests that wasn't immediately made clear to me.

Those are the only minor issues I can think of. Otherwise, it's been a great experience working with this team so far, and I'm excited to continue working with them!
