The woodwork and views are spectacular. Lots of gaming areas and bedrooms. Places to just kickback and relax. Very large movie theater and ballroom for large gatherings. What a wonderful place.

I cannot possibly tell you in words what a fabulous time our big family all had at the magical castle you call Graystone. We came to celebrate my mother's 96's birthday. There were 14 of us from age 13-96 and every one of us had an incredible weekend.

As we first entered the castle and wandered into the foyer, all of our eyes were upon the extra long dining room table, which was pre-set up for a sumptuous meal soon to come. The gold charger plates, china place settings, wine glasses and many many candles, much less the huge flower displays, and it just added to the ambiance of the evening. It was an awesome sight ...and that was just the beginning.

We are a family group who likes to cook and eat, so we checked out the kitchen and all the cupboards next. Gosh, everything that anyone could want was stored there. Crock pots, pans, dishes, everything that a good cook could ever need, and even an lovely antique coffee urn. Beautiful!

The special butlers pantry was a favorite with a coffee bar and cups on one side; and with wine, glasses and drinks on the other side. That became a very busy place for our group! It was super to have a separate place for beverages as the kitchen can get a bit crowded with so many cooking at once.

One of our best-loved places was the movie theater. The chairs there were to die for. So cushy and cozy with blankets nearby and great cup holders for our drinks.

For those not watching the movie, they enjoyed trying to rack up high scores on pinball, or the arcade games with sound effects, which brought back so many memories of times gone by! What a special treat for the younger ones, who learned about these exciting machines of long ago.

My special place was the turret room with walls of colorful flowing material and the unique chandelier hanging above. Since I'm an Alice in Wonderland fan, I loved the mini teapot and cups, but I never did find the Mad Hatter! Lol. What a quaint and charming little room!

I could go on endlessly with extraordinary compliments about every nook and cranny, but I would be writing pages and pages of praise.

Our family is extremely grateful to have visited this wonderful mansion. We will always remember and cherish our amazing weekend there forever.
