This place has been the absolute worst place I've lived in when it comes to upkeep and how they treat their residents. How PTLA, the slumlord that is buying up all over Ellensburg is not allowing lease takeovers, which has been common practice in the apartments in our town for a long time because of the college students. They get to control all the apartment renting prices, because they own them all. It's a monopoly, and they don't care about their residents. Look elsewhere for ANYTHING not owned by PTLA.

Update: we moved out and left the place no worse than when we moved in, aside from 2 sets of blinds that needed to be replaced. They are charging up $1,030 in fees. I've never had a rental do that. Don't move here.

Absolutely would not recommend this apartment complex, or property management company, to anyone looking to rent. Upon moving in, our apartment was missing cabinet doors and was completely filthy - we took it upon ourselves to clean up the apartment and submit all of the necessary work orders to make the unit liveable. After moving out and spending days deep cleaning the apartment so it would be ready for the next tenant we were charged a fee for almost every single line item on the move-out checklist which tore through our deposit and resulted in a net charge for moving out. With every issue we had in our unit, the maintenance workers were very helpful and kind, but the property management with any issue we had was unresponsive and seemed to not know how to do their jobs as each new person we spoke with would have different or conflicting answers for our questions. The complex and management made for the worst experience I have had in an apartment to date, in Ellensburg there are much cheaper and better managed options than this.

Honestly, I would not recommend anyone to live here unless you want to be scammed out of your money. Moving in there were quite a few problems we had, that eventually got fixed but they shouldn't have occurred to begin with. The worst part was being scammed out of about $500 in deposits. I spoke to management many times before moving out and had even asked the manager to check the place out before we moved out so he could tell me if anything needed to be cleaned better and he said no he would not do that. I was told the things I was concerned about, one of the blinds, some of the walls having marks on them, and a water warped floor board were all things that we didn't need to worry about and would not affect my deposit. When I finally get my deposit back I am charged $250.00 for painting that I was told was included!! Because the walls were stained from candles or smoking.. neither my roommate or I smoked or used candles.. mainly air fresheners. We had candles as decor though.Could have possibly came from our down stairs neighbors who made our apartment reek of weed every night, and kept us up all hours of the night from partying, that management did nothing about. We were also charged a for a piece of the stove that was broken off SINCE WE MOVED IN which I told them about and the dirty drip pans, and THEY NEVER FIXED either of those problems, but charged us for them upon move out. In addition to I cleaned and scrubbed the apartment repeatedly and even asked the manager to over look it before moving out and they still charged us a huge fee for cleaning. I was also told specifically by staff that the portion of the deposit they keeps go towards small things such as the carpet cleaning, which I did not do and told them upon move out I did not do. Yet of course they charged me for it. I tried contacting the Manager many times since I have moved out via phone and email and have been ignored or hung up on. Also, if you enjoy being woken up at 5am by the sound of leaf blowing, the roofs being changed or carpet cleaning this is the place for you. Apparently following town ordinances for noise laws doesn't apply to these people because it was a regular occurrence we were awoken by those things. I do not recommend this apartment complex to anyone.

I have lived here for a bit under a year and i’m extremely disappointed with the living situation and the staff members kindness. I have been having major problems with my apartment which is creating health and safety risks. But in response to this the staff is completely disregarding it. Treating it like it’s not their problem when it is. All I want is to feel comfortable and safe in my home which time and time again I am not getting living here. Dealing with this been getting more difficult since my rent went up and the good parts of living here have diminished. I want to love living here but I have gotten no respect, care or kindness from anyone. This makes it so hard for my roommate and I to want to stay! Last time I had issues with the complex I left a review and only than did they call to try and make it right. They’re trying to keep the bad reviews away but continue to give bad service.

I would not recommend living here. The only good things that I have to say are that the apartment is reasonably priced for Ellensburg, in a good location, and does not charge outrageous pet fees.

However, we had so many problems (some were under the old management and some under the new) but to name a few:
1. Loud neighbors at all times of the night and thin walls.
2. Apartment either smelled of cigarette smoke or weed for the first year until neighbors moved out (management and maintenance were unable to get rid of the smoke smell from our vents after months of trying).
3. Other tenants do not follow rules listed in lease and the rules are not enforced. People were constantly smoking right outside and let their dogs roam off leash. Our dogs were attacked twice (while they were on leash) by off leash dogs and are now dog reactive.
4. When there was construction, there were multiple times I woke up to a man standing outside my second story bedroom window while I was sleeping with no warning. Tape was also put on my car when they were painting and I was never asked to just move my car (which I would have happily done).
5. We moved out in April 7th and did not receive our security deposit refund until August 28th after months of me calling at least once a week to check on the status.

I enjoyed my experience here for a year and a half in grad school. The location is an easy walking distance to CWU campus, parking was plentiful, snow was removed from parking areas, management was quick to respond with maintenance issues, and was always very friendly, and the apartments are spacious and comfortable. This is one of the few apartments in the area that is pet friendly although pet rent is charged monthly.
The only issues I had were occasionally noisy neighbors and irresponsible pet owners not cleaning up after their dogs making for poop filled lawns. Occasional loud parties are bound to happen in housing near a college campus and it is not the responsibility of management to clean up after other peoples' pets.

We moved into a dirty apartment and the only people that were nice were the maintenance people. We had everything clean when we left and they still took 1/2 of our deposit. I do not recommend. The walls are thin, electricity is crazy expensive. And our next door neighbors where loud and and smoked pot the whole time and we could smell it through the walls.

Lived here two years, about a year in the management changed companies and it had/has been a complete nightmare trying to deal with the new company. Moved in and the place was missing blinds, a closet door and the carpet was filthy. On move out I get charged for the blinds, the door and the carpet. That charge’ll sit in collections for the next 7 years, don’t care.
