I and my elderly mother were friends with Patricia and Kenneth Haas. Mother and l helped the Haas family move into their new location. We were very close family friends of about 30 plus years. Pat and Ken was given approximately one million dollars, in exchange for notes and interest on the notes. Pat and Ken went bankrupt and we were never paid, the money owed went into their accounting business in Arcadia. The loss to me and my mother was about one million five hundred approximately, and the money would have grown substantially over 1.5 million to date. These actions took a horrible toll on my mother’s health and she died soon thereafter. These actions turned our financial retirement upside down. I am 71 now and l had to work very hard to reposition myself for for retirement.

With this said l would highly recommend avoiding Haas Accountancy, Patricia and son Kenneth Haas. This is how nonfiduciary negligent they are and how their dishonesty effected my mother and l.
