AVOID THIS PLACE AT ALL COSTS!!!!!!
This apartment complex is a nightmare due to severe mold and a roach infestation that persists no matter how clean you keep your unit. Management is unresponsive, ignoring complaints or providing temporary fixes that don’t solve the problem. Maintenance requests take forever, and the leasing office only cares about collecting rent, not addressing serious health concerns. Avoid this place at all costs—it’s not worth the risk to your health or peace of mind.

Had to get new washer maintenance people were great in responding to issues. The issue was with delivery from suppliers, first two times wrong product I needed a hook up for electric they sent ones for gas.(another unit needed same thing) then third time delivered to totally wrong apartment complex. After waiting several weeks maintenance installed it quickly .

My wife, children and myself love living at this property. They have a great gym facility on site that is perfect for early morning or late night workouts when your normal gym isn’t a readily available or easily accessible option. Maintenance is very responsive and fulfills any necessary work orders in a timely and professional fashion. Our community is located in a great location close to all your immediate needs and easily accessible public transportation close by if need be. And the front office staff, the front office staff is great. Very respectful, kind and accommodating. They know their property and area well and are more than happy to help in any way they can. If you’re looking for a new place to call home, this is a wonderful place to start.

I had the pleasure of working with Johnny when touring and when I moved in. Johnny is absolutely amazing! He was easy to talk to, answered all of my questions, and made sure to check in with me after my move to ensure everything is going well! I have only been here for about a month and I don’t have many complaints. The only thing that does suck is the parking here. It is hard to find parking unless you secure a spot but you will find that issue with almost all apartment complexes. You will find a way to work around it. My neighbors so far have been chill. If you’re looking into a new apartment, I definitely recommend you consider this place and working with Johnny!

DO NOT MOVE INTO THIS COMPLEX!

This will be very detailed of why you shouldn’t move in. Please read if you are honestly thinking about moving here.

I have had nothing but problems since I’ve moved into Hangar 128 apartments. Also known as Sage Apartments.

Let’s start with the mold incident. I lived in one until for a short amount of time. Before discovering it had mold in the unit. I repeatedly told the office by phone, email and in person that there was mold growing in the apartment. They kept telling me there was no mold (even though they DID NOT come check it out). They honestly just didn’t want to deal with it. The office lady had actually told me to use bleach to get rid of the mold if I think there is any. Which you should NEVER use bleach on mold. It feeds it and makes it stronger. I didn’t know this at the time and I followed their instructions and used bleach. It became such a problem. I had to hire a mold inspector and there were 6 types of mold and 5 of them were harmful/deadly. When they moved us out of that unit, they put us in a rundown apartment. Most the plugs didn’t work. Things were broken and the concrete under the carpet is broken. So the floor was uneven. I had roommates move in to help with rent and when I put them on the lease, they charged me ANOTHER deposit. This would be the 3rd deposit I’ve done for one unit. When I brought it to their attention, they said they only see 2 deposits in their system. So the money orders I turned in for one of the deposits disappeared somehow and was never recovered. That unit eventually caught on fire. The whole building was on fire. It happened at 4am while I was at work. They didn’t call me until after 8 in the morning. It took them hours to call me and tell me that my apartment was on fire. I moved into this new unit. And I live on the side where there is street parking. It’s so bad that people’s car busted into every night. And the homeless drug heads are sleeping ON OUR APARTMENT STAIRS. That’s right! We open our front doors and we trip over the needles and passed out druggies. Now the most recent event that has happened to me is they have ā€œlostā€ half of my rent money and sent me an eviction notice. When I call them to figure it out they have attitudes and don’t want to help. They are NO help. I strongly suggest not living here. There are a lot more issues with this place. So many issues!!!! Do not move here. Save yourself the stress.

Okay, I’m adding this too! The business owner keeps commenting on the reviews and telling us to contact Hangar 128 if we have concerns. They don’t call us back. They don’t email us back. They don’t want to help us. The staff is unhelpful and I honestly feel as if I should get legal help too. Just like the reviewer said. Because illegal things happen. Like overcharging and money disappearing. Also, I forgot to mention about how my stuff keeps getting stolen because our mailboxes keep getting broken into. One mailbox does even have a lid anymore. It was completely ripped off. And the reason why you can’t find my name in your resident list is because I didn’t use my real name.

Update: Literally today 12/06/24 they did a fire alarm inspection without any notice. They claim to have put notices on our doors but there was NO notice on my door. When I called to ask why we weren’t given any notice…the woman (Sandy I think her name was) said ā€œI don’t know what’s going on. Sorry.ā€ So, they had no answers.

Do not live here. There's an issue with rats they currently have 134 maintenance requests that aren't be fulfilled and moving in new people come as priority over the residents that currently live here when they can't take care of the residents they already have. Parking is an issue and I saw a rat by the c building which means their probably infested. When your paying the same amount you would pay at a 5 star residency you expect the same service in return. There's been multiple times I've been given miss information by John.

DO NOT MOVE HERE. This is by far the worst and rudest place I have ever dealt with. TWICE they have lost records of our deposits made, not that it matters since they have made all of the deposits non refundable (except for the security deposit that is written as a slightly different amount on each form and we paid DOUBLE of, but there’s no record of that or my $500 per deposit either apparently). We also moved out over a month before our lease was up. I had sent five emails, left voicemails and went in person to let them know and I still got harassed with phone calls (calling three times in a row until I picked up instead of leaving a message and calling my cosigner to ask if we were still gonna live there) asking if we were renewing our lease. The day before our lease was up I went in person to ask if there was anything we needed to sign etc. and they said ā€œoh, you’re moving out?ā€. I also physically wrote down our forwarding address for them and they said they never got it. I wrote it down right infront of them. Took them three months to ā€œfixā€ my heater that was coming out of the wall, smelled like smoke when turned on and had black marks on the wall around it during the COLDEST months of the year. Still was never fixed. When I called after waiting two weeks without a heater (I had submitted two maintenance requests and emailed with no response) to simply ask when maintenance would be coming, I was met with a sigh and ā€œI don’t knowā€ and got hung up on. I don’t believe that lady works there anymore but pretty much each person i’ve spoken to there has been just as rude. They say you can call and email them but they never respond. Lease says they have the carpets cleaned but after we moved in I used a carpet shampooer and the carpets were a completely different color they were THAT dirty. They also have one smoke detector in each apartment (there is supposed to be one in each bedroom and a carbon monoxide detector). They only allow one parking spot per unit now, when we lived there there was plenty of empty reserved spots but people were made to still park in the fire lanes or on the street. Why have 2 and 3 bedroom apartments and only allow one parking space per apartment? I would understand this rule if there were very limited spots available but there were plenty of empty ones. We were also told we needed to keep the noise down and be respectful of our neighbors since we apparently got a complaint AFTER we moved out. We didn’t even live there. But of course got no response to us questioning that email as well. Never got a response to emails sent about residents letting their dogs out off leash and running up to our dog. I wouldn’t have minded these issues as much had they been resolved or had I been treated with respect. There are million things I could say about this apartment complex but i’ll leave it at NEVER EVER MOVE HERE.
