We were referred with ONE referral – Heidi Dickens. We set to meet with Heidi and one meeting is all it took to know that she was the ONE! Heidi may have an extensive and impressive experience but the person that she is – caring, compassionate, ethical, professional, wonderful communicator, knows the way the world of social media, and so much more – she was our perfect fit! We signed our contract with Heidi prior to the COVID19 pandemic. No one could have ever imagined how upside-down our world would be once the quarantine and stay at home mandates began. Heidi through all of this added challenge remained, caring and so very thoughtful. Despite having already staged the house, prepared the video showcase for the property, and other arrangements, she put US first! Throughout the entire process, Heidi made it clear to us that her approach to working with us would be that she took ownership of EVERYTHING. From understanding that we did not want a lock box at the door, to understanding we also wanted to make sure she would be there for any and every showing. To understanding that I was a control freak about making sure I knew when she would be at the property, or when anyone she worked with was at the property. She took the time to understand each and every one in our family, including our quirks and personalities. If our experience with Heidi is any indicator of how she is with all her clients, then, she is definitely one who will put her client’s interest first. She is not only passionate about being the best Real Estate agent, but she truly knows her stuff when it comes to real estate rules and regulations. She works with an exemplary team that made this process as bearable because of the emotional strain this was on us. Her team was just as amazing as Heidi herself. It takes a very special person to lead the efforts to the level that Heidi did for us. Which, by the way, if one were to look at her other reviews, shows that she definitely takes pride in doing the best on behalf of her clients….continuously! As I mentioned, Heidi had the added challenge of dealing with the quarantine and social distancing guidelines that were constantly changing while working on selling our property. She made sure that the appropriate steps were taken to ensure that anyone, once the quarantine was eased to allow viewing again of the home, remained secure and met the guidelines for ensuring the safety of all parties. When other agents tried to circumvent the process, Heidi made sure to protect our rights and interest. And, she did so with professionalism, ethics and grace. Her weekly communications were an added benefit too. I firmly believe that we not only had an amazing experience having Heidi as our real estate agent but I think we were blessed to have gained a friend as well. There would be NO hesitation on our part to recommend Heidi and her team at Village Properties. She truly is a remarkable human being and real estate agent.
