I have been living at Tuscanvilla apartments for about 12 years. I’ve always been treated nice by property management maintenance. The problems that I have are some of the staff at HINGEL Sometimes when there is an after hours, emergency like flooding in my kitchen from the rain outside, I understand you can’t help the weather like when roads are closed and people can’t get to you sometimes the staff are not so friendly sometimes I’m afraid of their reaction when I call and ask for assistance I have to say Deborah and Ray who maintains Tuscanvilla apartments are wonderful. They are on top of things. They’re helpful. They’re friendly. I couldn’t say enough nice things once again the problems that I have are people above?

Had a move out inspection by the manager that said everything was great. I told him I spackled the holes from hanging pics and he said that's good because all he needs to to was "touch up paint" and that i would pay for carpetcleaning. 20 days after move out, I had not heard from them so I emailed asking about my 1500$ deposit, $500 of which was a pet deposit. They also charged and extra $25 a month for "pet rent". On day 21, they sent me an invoice for $475. They charged me 1600 to replace the whole carpet and over 600 to paint plus 44 for "black light". The carpet was not destroyed, the walls had just been painted before I moved in and I was only there for 1&1/2 years. There were no pet stains or smell whatsoever. They completely took my deposit for normal wear and tear and charged me for all of it. They did not notify me of any impending issues and my pre checkout was all good. This company preys upon its tenants and steals their deposits. DO NOT rent from them. I will be taking them to small claims and they will not get a dime from me over the cost of carpet cleaning. They are dishonest in their business practices and count on the fact that their tenants won't challenge them. Read the reviews folks, it's all there. I also filed a claim with BBB and have my lawyer (a family member who specializes in these issues) involved. What a bunch of crooks.

continuous black mold growing in the house that we’ve had a problem with since we moved in 3 years ago! property managers do bare minimum to fix work & problem continues to happen. and property manager Deborah turns around and gives you attitude when you want problems addressed in the right way! very disappointed in these apartments would never recommend anybody else !

Great events. We will miss the caring community couple who are moving, but we're excited about the new couple who will be moving in. Hignell is a good company.
