Most landlords and brokers in commercial real estate could care less about small businesses. But Hughes Marino has a genuine concern for their customers. Hughes Marino clearly is very knowledgeable about the leasing market throughout San Diego. However, in my experience, the have very little regard for small tenants. I was scheduled to tour office properties with one of their agents in Sorrento Valley. At the last moment, his assistant emailed me announcing that I was essentially on my own for the tour as my agent had another (presumably better client) who wanted to tour at the same time.

No respect for me. No respect for my business.

Larger tenants may be perfectly fine with Hughes Marino, but beware of the character of the people you are doing business with there.
