I am deeply dissatisfied with the unprofessional handling of my lease agreement by Property Manager Scott. Despite providing more than four weeks’ notice, there has been no progress in removing my name from the joint tenancy. Instead, Scott has only assisted the other tenant in gaining my bond. His communication was primarily directed toward the other tenant, making it challenging for me to be removed from the lease.
Scott’s approach to paperwork exacerbated the situation. While he created a Change To Tenant On The Lease document, he allowed the other tenant to delay signing it. In contrast, Scott conveniently transformed the Change Bond Contributor Agreement into an electronic document, making it easier for the other tenant to gain my bond.
This lack of transparency and clarity has indirectly perpetuated my distressing situation and directly impacted my safety and well-being. I understand that Scott may not have been aware of my situation as a victim of domestic violence during that period. However, as a tenant, I expected better support and professionalism during this process.
