I searched far and wide for a quality kit to build a wood shed before coming across Jamaica Cottage Shop. They had exactly what I was looking for. Me and my wife purchased a cabin and mudroom from Jamaica Cottage and they were fantastic throughout the process. We originally had a contractor promise us a slab for delivery but back out and Jamaica Cottage held our inventory until we got another contractor to help us. They went above and beyond for us and we will do more business with them in the future. 10/10 I recommend!

This has been the worst experience that I have ever gone through in my 73 years living in Maine. From the approved list of assemblers provided for us we chose an unscrupulous 5 star review one which obviously was not properly vetted. This guy took all of our funds and disappeared….There is no follow up from Jamaica Cottage as to the quality of the work being performed. One would think that their referral would mean something as to the name and reputation of their business but all you’ll ever get is complete lip service - that’s it. So, my heartfelt advice is to definitely steer clear and deal with a company that truly cares about their customers. A one star review is gracious, I would go lower if possible. Good luck….

All I can say is WOW! We couldn’t be happier. I am SO impressed with the entire package… from the instructions to the fasteners to the lumber AND each piece is numbered and color coded. Frankly the most difficult part was unloading the skid/pallet. It is evolving from a greenhouse to a she-shed…..herbs, veggies, painting, journaling , coffee with neighbors and an occasional glass of wine.
We no longer are considering moving!

This has been the worst experience my daughter and her fiancé have experienced with the putting together cabin they purchased from you with contractor and legal needed to get job done and things not right with parts not done on your end with with prefab construction. This should be if not done with lawyer be directed to the BBB for investigation as it has been a cluster mess from builder not doing job to your missing or incomplete building pieces sent to site by your end. I can send pictures but if more info needed I can submit it.

Superb materials, a pleasure throughout the process. Wood was excellent, plans and cuts were perfect. Made building the simple garage a lifetime dream come true. Highly recommend and will buy again.

My kit arrived two months early. Thanks for that. Did have an issue with one board, but Jamaica Cottage Shop took very good care for helping me get a replacement. Love the shed!!

Some of the wood was wring length by like 4 ft and they shipped a lot of extra wood plus 2 extra windows. Only real issue was sequence of packaging. Lots of hunting and pecking for like parts, took 2 guys 4 hours to find entire floor system but besides sequencing issue happy with product
