In a strange pre-election housing market and in selling a beach condo property that is considered by most as a secondary home, we were unsure how well the marketing of the property would result in a timely sale, and in accordance with our target price. We needn’t have worried. From the get-go, Janet was clear with our parameters for a sale and provided amazing photos and video to market the condo and handled the necessary inspections. She took the time to understand the comparison properties, visiting them all to see how our property compared, and ultimately fixed an initial, competitive price. She or a colleague hosted an open-house each weekend, and was prompt and thorough at updating us as to the number of visitors and, importantly, those that seemed truly interested. Since we kept ourselves scarce during the marketing period, Janet was great at ensuring the condo was in tip-top condition and presentable at all times. Once we entered escrow, Janet and her team established an effective electronic signature loop and a timeline to closure that allowed us to track the milestones. She also worked with the title company to obtain a notary for formal paperwork signatures while we were absent from the property. Overall, Janet provided us with a very smooth and effective process resulting in the sale. I believe her passion for reality, her knowledge and understanding of the market, and her ecosystem of talented colleagues was fundamental in ensuring a happy success for us.
