After 2.5 years of renting from this man, I would strongly discourage anyone from ever renting with him or even doing any type of business with him. Jeff and his team mismanaged maintenance on numerous occasions, and even illegally billed us for plumbing issues because he neglected proper care of his rental after he purchased the home. My partner and I were forced into purchasing a new fridge within the first month of moving into his rental (which he did not reimburse us for), there was water coming into the house from a rainstorm due to old windows not being taken care of or replaced and there was a moment in time where we didn’t have a functioning shower in a 1bath house for 3 weeks. In each instance of maintenance there was little urgency to get things fixed, no compensation for inconvenience and Jeff gas lit us into thinking it wasn’t that bad until we had to get him to see it for himself. So unless you want to rent from a rich entitled gaslighting slumlord, walk the other way.
