WOW, dodged a bullet in dealing with them! 9/27/24

Was in the market for a lawn tractor for our new property, and it's fall no less. So, as a business person, you'd think selling lawn tractor in the fall in Alaska would motivate the sit on his rear-end manager. NOPE!

I was looking for the Husqvarna lawn tractor, triple bag system, as well as the snow blade, and ready to pay cash! Then it's everything above MSRP, then there's a snow blade setup fee, then there's a $200.00 delivery charge, but these folks can't manage a delivery for 2 weeks going from Wasilla to Palmer? There must be 10 people working, and no one is leaving Wasilla for Palmer for 2 weeks? That's ridiculous!!

As a business owner, that's just poor customer service! They should have been willing to deliver locally that same day for $200.00 and to make the sale.

So, on the way home, I contacted a few lawn care and snow removal services, and before I shut the truck down, I had already hired someone.

Their loss is someone else's gain... I'll wait until Spring and buy from Lowe's which is sad because I really wanted to support local businesses but NOT like this.

One of the worst companies I have had to work with in a long time.
Can’t speak to the equipment rental, but the warranty work they do is awful.

Short version of a long story (They had my equipment nearly a year) is that I had to get the police involved to get my generator back, pay $115, and got a generator back that was less than a year old at drop off looking like it has been used for a decade completely torn apart and not functioning.

Management laughed me off until police were involved and even then they were extremely unprofessional with name calling and degrading comments with the officer having to put a stop to it.

Edit: Generac was great and sent me a newer model replacement generator for free. I purchased the $40 part for the old generator that I originally told Jewel I needed and fixed the generator myself.

I spent 2 visits and over $400 for them to service my snowblower. The first visit, they dumped the brand-new premium gas out and refueled it and charged me over $150. They did not do anything else to it.
The second vis was over $250. I picked it up last Tuesday- by Friday it stopped running and now will not start.
Don't spend your money here.

Dropped my snowblower off at the end of December and was given a 10 day estimation of completion. I called for an update after 2 weeks and was told parts were on order. No problem, I get it.
Called again two weeks later and was told the parts have been there and they’d call back to figure out why it’s not done. No call ever came that time or the number of times I called over the following 3 months until it was finally done in April.
In the end it cost me over $500 to have it repaired ($100 in parts, $400+ in labor). Brand new the machine was $1k.
Between the repair cost and snowplow service I had to pay for while they had the machine for 9x longer than estimated, I could have bought a brand new one and saved money.
Don’t take your equipment here unless you want to overpay and wait months on end with a different excuse every time you ask for an update. I didn’t even receive a “sorry it took so long” when picking it up, which may have been all it took for me not to write this review.
What’s even more frustrating is I won’t be able to test the repairs until next winter. At which time I will update my review, if everything isn’t working perfectly.

Horrible service thus far. I purchased several items from them. Our lawn mower broke within 1 month of purchase in July. As of December, the lawn mower hasn't been repaired, and honestly, I think they lost it. They have a different story every time I call. I always get a promise someone will call me, no one. I was just told today that the priority for repairs is winter equipment. Understandable, but mine has been in since July. Something should be done to help.

Exceptionally poor customer service. You can feel the shady business practices as soon as you walk in. Their go to response is “someone should have told you that” - If you have warranty work ask any and all questions up front and get it in writing. Absolutely terrible communication skills and they will hit your wallet hard.
