Imo con artists. I would not deal with them at all. Especially for property. After they added 10 percent to my total then had me pay 20 percent of that down found out to many errors n Liens on property. Can only get quit claim deed. Plus now they are telling me not only do I have to pay their back taxes but also their hospital liens as well. Even though a company named appcom bought it before me. Even the title company they hired won't deal with it and are closing it. So here I am out 12540 dollars but also somewhere to live. And can't get no correspondence from Joe r pyle anymore.

When a tax sale is done ALL parties w/ an interest in the property should receive notice of that tax sale. When that happens properly the liens are extinguished an would not have to be paid. In this case the liens were not noticed property and, in some cases, not noticed at all.

This is from the title agency we both chose to end this. So since you nor appcom noticed these liens properly I'm expected to pay for them? That wasn't anywhere in writing that you failed to do this correctly. And now I can't get a response on getting my money back or how to proceed with this when the title company won't even proceed. Did we pretend not to notice these liens for appcoms benefit? Or was the person dealing with this transaction (colt) not trained properly?

Never again! Very deceiving and unprofessional. We participated in an online auction, the images looked great, after bidding and winning several lots, we drove 2 hours to pickup our items. It had snowed and was very cold, they left several items outside in the weather. The pantry full of food was mostly outdated and one lot stated that it included a 10x13 area rug, but when asked about it we were told it was a misprint! Save your money!

I have been collecting Guns for almost 70 years and I started with my first three purchases when I was 13. Now I am 81 and while I hate to part with the majority of my collection it is sadly for me TIME.
Since moving to West Virginia from the gun control state of Maryland I have been going to Joe Pyle gun auctions at Jane Lew at Bobby Stewart’s Auction house. I have made multiple purchases both in person and on-line.
I have watched Ethan Moore run a very impressive auction operation just like a well-oiled machine.
Most of the gun auctions are from estates and Joe Pyle, Ethan Moore and Jenna Payton have worked hard to make each auction a pleasureful experience for both the seller and all the buyers whether on-line or in person.
I noticed that after each auction within hours I received an invoice detailing the make model caliber serial number and cost of my purchase and the added 15% if I purchased on-line – which I did pretty regularly during the height of the Covid 19 Pandemic.
Each time like clockwork I was notified of my purchase and then given the times for pick up in Jane Lew.
The marketing done by Joe Pyle, Ethan, and the Photography and cataloging by Jenna Payton is immaculate and spot on.
So, I am giving this detail as on December 15th, 2022, I had a visit from Ethan and Jenna and Ronnie and Brian. To begin the process of moving my guns out to auction. I had asked for the seller’s contract before their visit and when thru it with Ethan before they came to my house this month.
Again, while it was hard for me to part with the large part of my collection it was Time!
They arrives with a Van and lots of gun cases and storage boxes for the handguns. From the time they entered my home they were very courteous and respectful of my property. They LISTENED very intently when I spoke and assured me that this process would be efficient and thorough, and it was.
The two helpers Ronnie and Brian were amazing they moves over 145 guns, gun cases, ammunition, gun cabinets and gun racks from my upstairs vaults to their van very smoothly. It was a tiresome effort for sure, but they just keep moving things along.
While Ethan and Jenna cataloged my guns into spread sheets using two lap top computers then Brian and Ronnie would take the gun and hand a new one to Ethan and Jenna and then case each weapon and move them out.
I could not have experienced a more efficient event. It was actually a pleasure and very positive on all counts.
After they left within hours, I had the full spreadsheet of all guns and items taken for the pending auction on February 25th, 2023.
All in All, it was a speedy process and I know from experience that I will get a fair market value for my treasured guns and there is no way I could have accomplished the sale of this many guns in a years’ time and now it will happen in one day.
Joe Pyle Auctions is a great service to the public and to collectors like me.

Never again their fees are ridiculous. $150.00 for Facebook?!? Staff is rude . Watch out for how many set up and pick up hours they charge you! It will be more than triple the hours that they are there for pick up. They will make more than you after all their fees!

We would highly recommend Joe Pyle Auctions for any business! Our antique store needed a ton (literally thousands) of items removed within 2 months and the team from JPA was absolutely amazing! They sorted out 40 years of stuff in a week that I had been trying to do for 8 years. It pays when you find someone with the experience to get the job done. Jordan, Steve, Leslie, Brian and Justin were courteous, professional, and delivered on their promises. Can't say that about many places these days! You can trust these folks with your possessions ... we're sure glad we did. Thank you!

We had a awesome auction! Have to give great praise to Jordan Kiger, Dale & all the rest of the crew great JOB!!!! We had some issues with pictures in the beginning, but Jorden came out redone them & it was great. Joe R. Pyle is the best auction company will use them for all of our auction needs.

I had a very disappointing experience with Joe R. Pyle Complete Auction and Realty Service. I participated in their recent auction, and right before the live bidding started, they added reserves to the vehicles. This was not communicated beforehand, which felt deceptive and unfair to bidders like myself who were expecting a transparent process.

When I confronted them about this issue, they outright told me I was wrong. I even provided screenshots to back up my claims, but instead of addressing the situation, they simply stopped responding to my messages.

This lack of professionalism and transparency is unacceptable, and I would not recommend using their services. If you're looking for a trustworthy auction company, I suggest you look elsewhere.
