My wife and I were clients of John. We started our home search in Fall 2021 and John stuck with us for 7 months until we finally landed something in April 2022. Throughout the search & purchase process I appreciate John meeting our needs based on our modest budget. He is very communicative, understanding, and knowledgeable. His best quality is that he is genuine and honest. When asked for his real advice, he gives it. When we needed him to go to bat for us, he represented us strongly. He's been in the real estate industry for 25+ years and his experience and reputation is clearly visible through his large network.

If for any reason we need to purchase another home or sell my current one, we will use John Kenny again. Five stars are not enough to evaluate accurately John Kenny's outstanding counsel and hands-on help in selling my late parents' home. A property with "good bones", it was nevertheless in need of repairs and upgrading, and in addition, I was faced with the daunting prospect of emptying it of a family lifetime's accumulation of things. Living several time zones away did not make this an easy undertaking. Serendipity named Jeany introduced me to John as I was about to board a return flight after a short stay to take stock of the house. Months of let's-not-forget-the-pandemic followed during which John and I communicated remotely, and he took initiatives to get bids in for repair work, oversee the contracted work, and even sorted stuff in the garage over video chat with me. Honestly, John made an unpleasant task seem rather fun because he is truly an upbeat, optimistic and kind person, with a great sense of humor, and his experienced advice in sorting through work bids and in deciding which upgrades to do was invaluable. He knows contractors who offer very competitive bids. But really, does anyone know of a real estate agent who would help schlep a donation box to the Goodwill store? Or water newly planted shrubs for you? Pick up an online order at Home Depot? Or expound on the styles of 1980 golf shoes before chucking them? John clearly finds joy in his work, and it is infectious. I am just sorry that I don't have another property to sell!

2 years ago, we were looking for our first home in Daly City in Bay Area. We decided to engaged a real estate agent (not John Kenny at first) to help us land our first home in the ridiculous housing market that is Bay Area. Our first agent was an absolute disaster, so sheepish and didn’t take charge of anything. We lost a beautiful townhome because of the first agents incompetence… we were so upset (and sad)… it was time for an immediate agent change.

Then we engaged John Kenny…. it was a night and day difference in service and professional competence and experience. We sent John a list of 15-20 prospective homes we wanted to look at and John put in the time and effort to visit every one of those properties with us. We finally found a condo that was the best amongst all the properties we had looked at, and John advised us PROPERLY on our offer (looking out for our interests as the buyer). We put the offer in and had to leave for vacation. John must have worked behind the scenes with the sellers agent, because shortly into our vacation, we heard from him that we got the house! After coming back from vacation, he already had all the paperwork ready to go and the whole experience was so smooth. He even gave us a 1 year home warranty as a complimentary gift for working with him (and lo and behold we ended up using it almost 7 months into our purchase because our garbage disposal leaked and broke). John has since stayed in touch with us, checking in on how we’re doing every few months - we enjoy hearing from him, including all the awesome July 4th, Thanksgiving, and Christmas cards he sends every year!

Bottom line: John Kenny has a wonderful cheerful personality, he is hard working and very experienced, and always provides his clients with superior service that is very unlikely to disappoint. We will absolutely keep John (and his firm Century 21 Baldini Realty) in the front of our minds for our next home purchase.
