If you're looking for a great guy to help you buy/sell your house, John Romley is that guy! He was referred to us by very good friends, and worked with us to find our retirement home near the coast. Not only is he knowledgeable in the field of real estate, but he knows the Monterey area very well and was so instrumental in helping us chose where we wanted to live.. John ALWAYS answered our calls, texts, emails, in an extremely timely manner, Every single realtor we'd meet knew who he was and would tell us how lucky we were to be working with him. He is "family" now, no longer just our realtor. We just can't say enough about John, he's just simply...THE BEST!

Simply put, John is the best, and I’m not sure I can find words to adequately praise him. We are three siblings, living in three different countries, who inherited a house that had had the same tenant and minimal maintenance for nearly thirty years. Simply put - not an easy project for a realtor to take on. But John enthusiastically guided us every step of the way, from dealing with the tenant to the final counter-offer. John was the best choice we could have made when we decided to purchase a home in Pacific Grove. The process took about 8 months as the inventory was low and often the available homes were not meeting our criteria. John always took as much time as needed to review neighborhoods, properties or any other questions we had. He was also able to steer us away from properties that we should avoid. I think that the best part of Johns service was after we zeroed in on a home. He was an expert at helping us review the property and come up with a fair offer and then expertly negotiated the terms to close the purchase. We have had a few real estate purchase experiences. John is a good person. He gives thoughtful guidance and is ahead of any detail that arose for us.
