Do not buy from this community. We are very unhappy with how we were treated and still being ignored. Our house was delayed by 7 months, which I know happens a lot in construction, but the foreman was very dismissive by anything we wanted fixed during construction, and now they are major issues with the house since he never addressed them. It has been over a year since move-in, and our house is also still not finished and missing some things that we paid for. Some things were installed damaged and need replacing (including a gas line!). We were also never given any of our Post Close Meetings/Inspections that we were promised to handle any of our problems. Customer service has been very unresponsive as well.

We have had nothing but positive experiences in our dealings with Nicky in the sales office. Always professional and responsive to our (many) questions. The entire team, including Michael, our build supervisor has made our purchase and impending move very exciting and worry-free.

edit: unfortunately, since posting this review we've had numerous delays that have put us back many months from our initially approved close. It's hard to rate our experience highly until we actually have our house.

edit 2: the builder came through in the end after some changes in supervision of the home and we love our home and the neighborhood. Can't say it wasn't without hiccups, but we are thrilled with the home.

Sales team is really nice and responsive, but the construction is very very slow and no accountability or transparency.

In addition to supply chain issues, lot of mistakes are being made by construction causing these delays. We signed a contract in August 2021 and still don’t know when the home will be ready, they say per contract they don’t need to tell us the definitive date until 1 week prior to closing.

We also had a lot of surprises. Surprising retaining wall that’s part of the home, closed side yard, which was not disclosed prior to signing the contract. model home vs our home is~ 60 sft smaller and kb doesn’t want to adjust the price of the home.

KBHS lender was not at all knowledgeable or helpful , i needed to work with an external lender

Advise to others:
Get a lawyer to review the contract before signing as the contract they provide is in favor of seller and very unfair for the buyer when issues like the above arise.

Have everything in email rather than verbal conversation, sales team generally will help you navigate through issues smoothly. They were unable to in my case as this is the first time they are dealing with such situation.
