We were newcomers renting in Stowe, VT during the summer of 2020, and after a few months there, despite the run up in prices, we began to think about buying a home. Our rental agent was a fantastic local who we trusted a lot, and we asked if she could help us. She strongly recommended KC Chambers to us, saying he'd be who she would use were she buying another property herself, as he really knows what to look for (and look out for) when checking out a home. So, KC came with high expectations from a trusted source.

Long story short: he met those high expectations. We were able to conclude our search with KC in a few weeks, with a few viewings each weekend, and continuous thought and discussion about what our goals were as they changed midstream. We found a wonderful home that we love, and were able to transact in a relatively sane way during a wild time in the real estate market. KC's expertise, as well as his local relationships and credibility -- particularly with the seller's broker of the house we bought -- were key factors in getting that done. He kept us focused on what would make for a great Vermont home that would meet our needs (and was clear about what would not), hitting our location goals, what we could do (and what we should not do) to add value, and doing proper diligence. During purchase, KC's recommended lawyer and inspector were both excellent. After purchase, his recommended contractors for painting, carpentry, and landscaping have all been wonderful folks who do great work on our new home too.

If you are looking for a real estate expert, I'd highly advise working with KC. From the very beginning until the end, he was proactive and took a direct yet personal approach to the purchase.
For example, he advised me on my land purchase to work with the engineer to ensure the property could have 4 bedrooms instead on the basic 3 plan. This advice was very helpful in increasing property value but, better yet increasing its usability and saving on rebuilding a proposed septic plan (nevermind engineering it again and then more permits).
KC listens, communicates quickly, advises, and gives options. He's also enjoyable to talk with!
