One of the members of the city council, who records water bill payments by citizens (clerk) got snippy with one of the members of my current household, due to a bill that was doubled and charged to us. The member of the household went to inquire about the doubled outstanding amount when she knew she had paid the previous month's bill. The same clerk was the actual one who accepted the cash the previous month.

When questioned we didn't have the receipt (at the time) and her attitude grew. The member of my household then found the receipt at home and returned to the city council and presented it to the clerk. She then removed the doubled portion of the bill.

It is my recommendation for all people to monitor their bills from the place.

This could be a result of error, or stealing. All parties beware.
