I have had the pleasure of working with Melanie King twice now. Once to buy, once to sell, and I have interacted with her as a potential client a dozen or so more times ( I was wishy washy about selling for awhile). as such, I have some insight on to why you should work her.

I am sure there are dozens of other agents out there that are also competent, communicative, willing to fight (seriously, she's cut throat in the best way possible), knowledgeable, adaptable, professional, courteous, and an absolute comfort to work with. I'm sure they are out there, in theory. But why bother continuing to look for the theoretical? If you're reading this, you've already found it.

I have recommended 5 friends and coworkers to her, to either buy or sell their own homes. All 5 have done nothing but echo my above sentiments. For those of you that struggle with math, that's 100% of the people that I know that would recommend her.

From the first time I spoke with Melanie on the phone 6 years ago, to the signing on my seller's documents just a couple months ago, she has been the lone beacon in the monsoon that is real estate.

Buying my house was a breeze, not because house buying is easy, but because she made it that easy.

Later, when I decided to sell, I was struck by some very untimely misfortune. As such the amount of effort that was needed to sell my house due to the tidal wave of bad circumstances was insane. While it required a herculean amount of work, I barely shouldered the brunt of it.

Melanie went above and beyond the scope of a realtor and made s*** happen that I didn't think was possible. I literally would not have been able to do it without her.

So:

- If you don't know a damn thing about real estate and want someone to hold your darling little hand the entire way like a lost child (no shame, I am talking from lived experience)

- If you want someone who will ensure you are getting your money's worth.

- If you want someone who you don't have to worry about checking to make sure they are doing their job.

- etc etc etc, you get the point

In the words of Miranda Priestly -

"You'd be an idiot not to hire her".

As a realtor myself, she is who I trust when looking for homes outside of my area.
