Horrible leasing group, do not deal with these people. Zero flexibility and even gave us a dishonest “deep cleaning” service after our lease ended.

We were new to working with a property management company, and KRC Group exceeded our expectations in every way! Steve assisted us through the entire process, from advertising, touring, interviewing, and signing a lease with a tenant we love, in less than three weeks.

Steve's decades of experience shows with a methodological process to renting and applicant screening. He was thorough and detailed, with a friendly attitude. Extremely responsive to questions and requests, and most importantly, respected our opinions as we went through each step, carefully selecting the best possible candidate.

They are unprofessional and completely discriminatory. they use predatory tactics and states they do not follow fair housing laws. We were sent the application, we completed it and we’re finalizing being approved. Because we asked about fair housing they denied our application. We asked for clarifications for their process and once we did that they ghosted us and wouldn’t respond. They do not want tenants who know their rights and clarity. Before we applied the deposit for everyone else applying was 1 month rent and then increased for us to almost 2X rent. They were steering us to rent a 6 month lease when we wanted a 12 month lease. They steered us to pay higher to make them feel comfortable renting to us. They did not want to conduct a pest inspection before we moved in. They were asking our EMPLOYERS about our personal life and rental history.

I signed a contract with a property managed by KRC in Dec 2021 and had multiple interactions during my one-year stay there till Dec 2022.

Once you sign the contract, you will end up chasing them for

1. keys # they don't inform you how they will deliver keys till a day before. After lots of follow-ups, you will be notified that someone will come to deliver. "They don't show up on time," and finally, when they show up, you will realize that they don't have all keys, as crucial as the backdoor key critical to move house items and the mailbox key critical to receive communication. You expect they will prioritize your request and sort out the critical issue. Days and Weeks pass by, and you will end up following as you are not a priority anymore.

2. pre-move in inspection and maintenance calls# Messages, emails, calls, follow-ups. You will be given a checklist to fill out. Critical things like kitchen surface light, blinds to road-facing windows, etc., are ignored.

3. move-out notice # they ghost out, no acknowledgment, and you have to chase them even after moving out with due notice

4. They don't respond even after you vacate with 45 days of advance notice and vacate the house 15 days before the end of the contract period. They deduct hefty amounts with no / unreasonable receipts.

So, be prepared to lose money, time, and peace of mind if you sign a contract with them.

I have a rental unit in Sunnyvale and my tenant was moving out. Since I live in San Francisco, finding a tenant with the property being in the South Bay would have been a burden for me.
