I inquired about a space for lease, asking if it was zoned for a take out business.

Realtor Teri Krohn emailed me the next morning, ignoring my initial question, stating I didn't have enough space for a kitchen. How does she know? Quite interesting since she was never told of my business, my proposed layout, my business plan, my background, etc. She just assumed the space would be too small.

I then emailed her twice to follow up and never heard back.

Unprofessionalism at its finest. Welcome to 2025 where customer service is a complete joke.

I'll turn to Compass going forward. They actually care about the customer!

Sal Dimiceli, Jr. is a truly exceptional realtor. We were referred to Sal through a friend. My fiancé and I were still living in California at the time but were starting our search for a new home in Lake Geneva, WI. My initial interaction with Sal was over the phone. We spoke for nearly an hour. He patiently listened as I shared our wish list for not only homes but for vacant lots as well. He collected our preferences and curated daily email updates with homes and lots for sale. Sal was always there when we had questions about properties, and we spoke several times by phone over a nine-month period.

We finally flew out to look at homes and property this past April. Sal was prepared and so buttoned down. He had information about each of the properties (and directions) all individually printed out and presented in a nice packet. We spent an entire day looking. Sal always provided sound and honest feedback when we asked questions about the properties.

When we found our dream home, Sal was right there and advised us on making an offer that would give us the absolute best chance for the seller to consider accepting our offer. And it worked, the seller immediately accepted our offer.

Since we were moving cross country, Sal was so supportive during the interim period before closing with recommendations for movers, lists of utilities, was present for home inspections when we couldn’t be there, etc. Not sure what we would have done without him.

Working with Sal was like working with a dear friend rather than a real estate agent. There are so many things to love about Sal. He is knowledgeable, kind-hearted, professional, caring, genuine, honest, and was incredibly responsive which is impressive when you consider the time zone differences. If he didn’t pick up a call, he would always call back right back or text stating when he’d get back to us. Through the entire process, Sal looked out for us and always had our best interests in mind.

We consider ourselves extremely lucky and blessed to have had Sal as our realtor and now friend! We will eternally be grateful that he helped us find our forever home.

I had nothing but an amazing experience over the past few months working with Sal and his team at Lake Geneva Realty. Initially when I reached out in August about a lot showing, Sal and his son Sal Jr. promptly responded to set up a showing and took their time to discuss with me the details of the lot. I originally picked Lake Geneva Realty to list my home due to a friend’s experience with them, along with their stellar reputation in the area. I was absolutely amazed with Sal Jr. right from the start. I gave him zero notice on a Friday afternoon to come out for an appointment. He was there the following Monday as I requested. I was in a serious rush to list and sell due to a big move and promises made many states away. He showed up Monday ready and loaded with quotes, numbers, comparables, etc. Don’t get me wrong, he wasn’t pressuring, he just knew I meant business, NEEDED a champion, and he was honed and battle ready for it! We had terms, costs, everything figured out at our home within the hour. He returned promptly Wednesday afternoon armed to the teeth to compose our listing. He took all our ideas for pictures and descriptions. Gave us great advice on the ugly spots (you don’t always realize the cringe points of your place when you’ve been there 25 years) in order to keep our pace and hit our goals. A great coach needs wide eyes, a diverse playbook, and velvet cantor to expedite your needs. Especially when you’re so frantic you’re not all that sure what your needs are. Sal Jr has it all with Aces to spare! My wife and I were so amazed when our listing went live. Sal’s pictures and description were so beautiful we wanted to put an offer in for ourselves. Oh yeah, and we went live that Friday at 10:00 am with three tours before dinner. We had immediate offers and sold within 2 weeks. We can’t thank you enough Sal. Thanks for actually pulling all this off!
