We had a great time at Lake Lawn Resort over Valentine’s day weekend! It had been over 10 years since we were last there. The resort has undergone a total renovation since then, and it really looks great! The rooms are very comfortable and brightly decorated. The entire property has a very inviting feel about it. We enjoyed exploring the lodge and relaxing by the fireplaces. There are 3 restaurants on the property, and all the meals we had were very good. All the service we received from the staff was top-notch!||We arrived on Friday (Valentine’s day), and the resort had a reception in the afternoon that included free wine and hors d’oeuvres. One of the hosts (the gentleman with the festive Valentine's Day suit) was absolutely awesome! We didn't get his name, but he agreed to take a selfie with us at the Friday reception. He chatted with us that afternoon, and it was nice talking with him. We were pleased to see him again the following evening when we chatted with him some more while checking in for the Joe Diamond dinner show (which was AMAZING by the way). Many kudos to the dinner service staff that evening as well - they did a terrific job!!!||Lake Lawn Resort has many different events going on all the time, and often has live entertainment. Karaoke at the Lookout Bar & Eatery was a lot of fun, too!|||The only negative thing we have to say about our stay is that the guest room walls and ceiling seem to be a bit thin. We heard a lot of noise from our neighbors next to us and above us.|||Otherwise, it was a great experience overall! We were there to celebrate Valentine's Day and a birthday, and we had a great time! We will definitely be back!

My wife and I had a great time during our stay in February 2025. Ownership is doing a great job with the resort and the staff was great. Updated room was really nice and the food at 1878 and Lookout was excellent. Can't wait to come back soon with our kids. One comment for management, please do not continue to paint the timbers and wood around the resort with white paint, it does not look nice and it loses the feel of the resort that we all love. Just sand the timbers and use a lighter shade of stain to match the look of the wood in 1878. 1878 dining room looks so nice now.

We had a wonderful stay at LLL!! The updates are amazing and the staff was so attentive to the cleanliness and the over all feel. Great drinks at 1878! So many fun things to purchase in the gift shop. We enjoyed a good breakfast sandwich at Isle of Capri and a hot cup of coffee. The pool was warm and fun with plenty of tables to sit at. It was the perfect getaway in January. We can't wait to return!

Lovely couple of days at Lake Lawn Resort, off season. Staff very inviting and pleasant. Remodel of rooms / bathrooms very nice and refreshing. 1878 beautiful! Love that the Lookout Bar has remained the same. Perhaps, after summer of 2025, the hotel roads are repaved leading to the surrounding lodge rooms - needs more than tar fill-in. Would return.

Lake Lawn Resort is a clean and updated hotel, perfect for a girls' spa weekend getaway in the winter. The double queen room is spacious and has extra amenities, including a microwave and mini fridge. Although the resort is relatively spread out, it is mainly connected by enclosed walkways, making it easy to get around.

The pool, gym, and spa are well-maintained and offer a variety of services, such as massages, facials, and nail treatments. Additionally, there is a lovely happy hour and a welcome reception, allowing guests to mingle with one another.

While we didn't try the 1878 restaurant, the Lookout serves a fantastic burger and chips!

What truly sets this resort apart is the warm and accommodating staff. Their friendliness will make you feel right at home.

The location of LLL is truly beautiful during all seasons. The unique lodge layout makes it very easy to get to all areas of the lodge.
Our room was impeccably clean and the bed very comfortable. Unfortunately, we could easily hear through the walls as conversion was heard and snoring by our neighboring lodgers.
We went to the Lookout Bar for dinner. The hostess was very friendly. Corrine was our waitress and was very friendly and familiar with the menu. This venue is perfect for big groups and families, although noisy if you prefer a quiet dinner.

Had the best New Years Eve celebrating with family. We did the family glow party package which included a delicious buffet, fun DJ and NYE accessories. We checked out the adult only band also which was fun- lots of dancing. Karaoke was a bonus too. There’s a lot to do all over the resort. Loft room was newly renovated and wonderful. The whole resort was beautiful with all the lights and igloos. Staff went all out to make it a fun celebration. Awesome place to ring in the new year!
