I would rate him lower if I could they evicted in the middle
But more supposedly home owners association fees that she is the President. And there has never been a board meeting and we have never been able to elect any members, but yet they evicted me. General panthemic for less than 200 would never get from them again.And if I was anyone I would run from

I've known Odell and his family for several years as people I've done business with. I continue to do business with them because I know them to be of good character and professional in their dealings. This was the best rental property and management I have ever worked with, hands down! Genuine and down to earth family and I am forever grateful to be able to rent from them. They were always available whenever I had a question. They were able to accommodate me for the short time I was in Lafayette while waiting for my graduate school acceptance. If I am ever back in Lafayette or know someone wanting to rent I will 100% be recommending them!

Odel and his company helped my family get started again with helping us in a lease to own when no one else would. No shady deal or misleading paperwork just straight forward pay off. I Took responsibility to pay off my deal sooner than i was supposed too and everything went smooth. Evangiline bank (John Stigal) was very instramental with helping us get everything done and we were able to get our lives boosted again. Because of the help from Lamar properties our credit was rebuilt and we are now a succesfull buisness with 4 locations and growing... My family is so grateful to Odel for helping us and the residual of his help is showing everyday. Prayers do get answered. Not everyone may agree but its your own responsibility to be upfront and listen to your gut. We did and it paid off

All I have to say is I learned my lesson. Very very shady homeowners association. Nepotism to the max! The husband is the president, the wife is the VP, and the son is the treasurer. They voted themselves in via the “proxy”, since they own 11 out of the 18 homes in the neighborhood they have the “proxy” vote. I feel like I have no voice, and I actually own my home. When what they DON’T have is someone in the actual neighborhood reporting issues that need to be addressed. You can’t have the competitive advantage as a business if your entire HOA is your family. Diversity is what makes any businesses successful and encourages people to invest. And no, you can’t delete this comment, you can’t keep everything positive, and delete the negative.

All parties with the company were extremely professional and answered all questions by us and our counsel to our satisfaction. They were patient and provided a great experience. I was not interested in the beginning because of the negative reviews but finally gave them an opportunity. They have been everything GOOD in the home process!!!!
