First off, these apartments are pet friendly and Military friendly! The Leasing consultant has been amazing from start to finish. From applying to moving out she made our process a breeze, very grateful for her kindness and communication. While living here the staff and maintenance have all been courteous and friendly anytime I encountered them. I was renting a 1bdrm and it was really spacious and clean. You get 2 parking spaces and one of them is a single car garage which is really nice. The washer and dryer in the apartment was also a huge plus. They maintain landscape and I saw plenty of pet waste baggy stations throughout the complex. Overall, these are nice apartments, and we enjoyed renting here. Felt safe in this gated community and they do have security patrolling at night as well.

I recently completed my lease at this property and have mixed feelings about the experience. While the staff and maintenance team were friendly and helpful, there were notable challenges that made my stay less than ideal.

Communication was a persistent issue. It was often difficult to reach the office by phone or in person, and the office hours posted were not always accurate. On several occasions, the office was closed without prior notice, which was frustrating.

The neighborhood itself was generally pleasant, but there were consistent issues with cleanliness. Specifically, dog waste was frequently left on walkways and grassy areas, creating an ongoing nuisance.

Parking was another challenge, especially for visitors. Spaces were limited and often very tight, making it difficult to navigate.

In terms of value, I found the pricing to be quite high for what was offered. Additionally, I was charged a flat cleaning fee upon move-out, even though I left the apartment clean and provided a receipt for professional cleaning services. My inquiry about this fee went unanswered, which was disappointing.

Overall, I would only cautiously recommend this property, primarily for its friendly staff and maintenance team. However, the communication issues, cleanliness concerns, parking limitations, and high costs leave room for significant improvement.

I recently toured the Laurel Grove apartments. The staff were very welcoming, friendly and professional. They provided a detailed overview of the property and answered all my questions thoroughly. Overall I was very impressed with the staff and property. The complex is in a very convenient and lively area. I am seriously considering moving in and would recommend others to tour the property.

I live at Laurel Grove and I have no complaints! The office staff are very professional and polite! Every time I call or email they are quick to answer and take care of all our needs. The maintenance crew are always quick to take care of our work orders same day! Over all I am very happy here. I highly recommend Laurel Grove!

Im currently helping my niece look for a place for her and her roommate and we decided to check out Laurel Grove. I must say I'm very impressed with the property and the apartment homes! The 2bd is really nice and cozy and has 2bath, which is perfect for roommates! The property looks clean and has very nice curb appeal, you can tell the maintenance team takes their time to take care of the community. Management was really friendly and helpful with our appointment and answering the millions of questions we had (sorry about that, but thank you for your patience!) We left feeling really good about this place and my niece looks forward to making this her next new home!

Went to the leasing office to ask about an apartment and its amenities and the staff was so nice, they made me feel really excited to start the process to get an apartment here. The maintenance staff also made me feel welcomed with their warm smiles which is rare at my current residence! Definitely recommend getting your apartment here.

I had scheduled a tour for today through the website, we followed the instructions, no one answered at the gate. Someone finally let us in, but now the leasing office says “open” and there’s no one there and the door is locked. Great first impression.

I got 2 apartment
Applications

Took it to the housing authority they liked one
So we my care giver
And myself put
Down Application fee in November

The housing authority said the rent is to high and must go down.
Hot another section 8 voucher

Maryuim Said she would e mail it and fax it.

Housing authority never received it.
I went back again
The price went down
Brought the paper back. In Nove

Only I had only one page filled out not the back of the paper. Mary Cruz said it is too high.
On December 19th

Returned with my voucher to Larel Grove Apts
The rent went down
2,828 Maryuim copied it she filled the front and back.

On it she said could be inspected any time in December.
I asked her is this apartment mine or should I put down another application deposit she said.
I quote" it is yours as soon as it passes expection."

I left for the housing authority
Returned with the voucher completely signed. With the
New 2838 rent fee.

Mary Cruz took my voucher. She said she would contact them.

All I had to do is wait.
Well after Christmas I called Maryuim no call back.

January 1st her phone box was full.
Called again never in the office phone rang and rang .

Called Housing Authority no answer got answering machine. So
January 25 went to the housing authority told it pass
Inspection in December

Went back to the laurel Grove found out by A. That they rented it out on the first of January 2024
She gloated over it and said the housing authority took to long.

Went and saw Mary Cruz she said no they stopped taking her calls and e mails.
I Said really.
Now what am I to do
She gave me another voucher.

Go somewhere else
That is not so high priced and management more accommodating to your needs.

See I am 66 years old
I use a Cain and my care giver needs to have his own room. He helps me get around I wanted a bottom floor 2 bedroom and private bath for the two of us. And my ESA animals. I have PTSD.

So I feel I have been discriminated against because I am old and have no children. And on section 8 I thought
They have to take it.

Guess I have to contact my good friend Jimmy Penetta tell him about this.

He helped me so much with getting my disability claim
