My husband and I lived in multiple districts on Camp Pendleton. Mountain District was our favorite place to live by far. The views of the ocean are jaw dropping and the service team is amazing. Their lead manger for work orders Jose who actually cared about getting stuff done and doing it right in our home. Every time I went into the office all of the office team was welcoming and helpful. If you are reading this review, always be aware of the negative reviews. It seems like the many people who love living here don’t leave reviews, (I have a lot of friends who live on base in this neighborhood and love it) but the few who didn’t love it seem to blow up the negative. We got orders out of state and had to buy an home, all of the things the negative reviews talk about I now have to take care of on my own and I have to pay a lot out of pocket for professionals to fix my home. Homes have leaks, things break and that is part of living in an home rented or owned. I honestly would give a lot to have a maintenance team come fix and replace things without having to pay out of pocket for it. Overall, we loved living here and if we ever get orders back at CP, we will defiantly be living in Mountain again.

I have have lived in Liberty Military Housing for a few years. The service and attention to matters within the home and community is prompt and top notch in my opinion. When repairs were needed in my home, they took exceptional care to keep me informed of the progress and scheduling. Recent improvements in the neighborhood as well, lighting, new parking spaces, new landscaping to name a few. The staff is always friendly and attentive to my concerns. I’m grateful to be able to live here. Also, on a Friday afternoon/evening, my oven was repaired but then still needed to be replaced and the managing team and maintenance team worked expediently to put together and plan and made it happen ! Staying late to finish the job. Thank you everyone involved.

I enjoy living in this district and the management here is great! Whenever I have an issue and submit a maintenance request, the techs are always quick on completing my order. They even go the extra mile by checking if there's anything else that needs service. Thank you for your support.

Liberty WireMnt2 was one of the best base homes we experienced. There is always an event going on for the families and they truly work hard to keep the place clean. The maintenance and office employees are efficient and professional and most of all very kind. My family and I loved it here and I would definitely recommend this district to anyone.

EDIT 1/27/24: after writing this review originally, management came to my house without proper notice and said they were unaware of any issues of the home (despite work orders being placed). They also told me that “since we’re here, we need you to delete your review on google”. Sounds to me like they are STILL trying to only protect themselves. We have been displaced twice due to water damage, and when they did the most recent “repairs”, they broke and stole things from our house, and put our dishes, food, laundry (including that which was wet) all together in random bags. They STILL have yet to come pick up the old cabinets that were damaged, but won’t allow us to put it outside on the curb without charging us for “potential damage”. We currently have 6 work orders in and haven’t heard anything back. My spouse is having to go to the hospital for breathing issues because we told them there was mold in the shower and when they inspected it, they claimed it wasn’t. They also didn’t connect our dishwasher to the water and the worker ran it without water, and with supplies still inside of the dishwasher. The management is exploitative and rude. I HIGHLY recommend going through a different on base housing option or just living off base. It may seem expensive, but Liberty is going to charge you for their own mistakes anyway (I have photographic proof). I also applied last summer for a position and the manager no showed my interview, and then at my next over the phone interview, claimed that never received anything for me and didn’t offer me a second interview (I guess from embarrassment). The management is the most unprofessional, exploitative, vile people I have ever met. They don’t deserve to have any control over people just trying to live their lives.

ORIGINAL: Worst housing agency I’ve ever dealt with. We’ve submitted 3 different requests for issues we are having, 1 of them we’ve submitted 3 for. Still nothing. If you can avoid living here, please do so.

If I could write a review without giving any stars I would. The houses are infested with ants, black mold is in the walls and baseboards which they REFUSE to do anything about besides painting over it which does nothing and heavily affects the people living in the homes. The management team are the rudest people I’ve ever met. They harass their tenants constantly and are never friendly when addressing an issue they have. They charge the mil spouses who don’t even live on base for their active duty spouses damages to the houses, so when their spouse moves out they get a huge list of ridiculous charges they aren’t even responsible for and they refuse to Acknowledge that or apologize for their wrong doings. They also charge their tenants who move out for previous issues left by old tenants which again they refused to fix before having new tenants move in. I’ll forever tell people to not go through them. They do not care about their tenants. All they care about is money and they make it known.

Active duty, DOD, or veterans, do not be fooled. They do not care about us at all they over charge you for a “home” that isn’t compatible to the environment of California when it comes to heat they will try and charge you for the most expensive rate (or all of your bah for any location) my family and I are in the middle of opening a legal investigation against them due to civil rights violations and other violations. DO NOT LIVE HERE. Absolutely horrible

Do not ever rent from this place, I will warn you as a veteran, and a former dependent that this place is a dangerous place I have not seen or heard from the active duty member. I shared a home with him for years, and now my gay wages are being garnished as a single mother, because they can’t find him so they’re attacking me there a joke and I know for a fact what they’re doing is just reaching for money because they’re so desperate I was no longer active duty and was the dependent at the time I do not agree with how the approach things and I will talk to you. If you have any association with anyone that lives in his housing, they will garnish your wages until they get their money it is sick and disgusting. How they treat anybody live off base is a smarter decision. FYI if they’re reading this, you guys should be going after the active duty member who is on the lease not the dependent I was out before I lived there… he was dishonorably discharged .. he beat myself and my children after we fled the domestic violence for years ago …you guys are coming after us cause you can’t find him. You are pathetic.
