Gave them an estimate for job they wanted done. We spent hours providing them ideas with material information for what they wanted done. Took over a year to get the ball rolling because the contact person left with no one picking up the slack. Our contractor was ready but they would never return calls or emails. Finally when they reached out to us, told them that I would need to notify contractor as prices have gone up. Sadly our contractor ended MIA. Tried looking for another control but everyone else was 3 times more than the original quote. I told the company that we will bill for our time and design (which was originally told to original contact person) should they go else where. They decided to go with another and refuse to pay for our time. I suppose lesson learned. Never do work for anyone in good faith. We are a small store and was doing the work in good faith. NEVER AGAIN! This company screwed over the little company.
