BEWARE. This company takes advantage of elders with Alzheimer’s and will take their money. Beware that they rent to people knowing they are bringing bed bugs with them!!! They took advantage of someone diagnosed with Alzheimer’s knowing they would not remember their reservation was canceled multiple times and the property kept renting to her. ! Sad they take advantage of elders, they don’t care about possible bed bug infestation, terrible customer service as they will scream at you on the phone. Hey but they got PART of their money, that’s all that matters. Do better! Read reviews below about bed bugs.

10/10 recommend this company if you’re looking for a vacation rental in the Gulf Shores, Orange Beach or Fort Morgan area! The cottage we rented in Fort Morgan was so cute and clean!! Their staff were so helpful, and recommended some great restaurants that were amazing!!! Thanks again, we will be back again!!

I live in the community of Gulf Shores and always try my best to business locally. I attempted to straighten out a situation with my mom a snowbird who has been renting with Luna Beach properties for years. She has had a change in health and due to those circumstances I was discussing possible changes in location and possibly cancellation of my mom’s winter accommodations through Luna Beach. As a possibility I had suggested maybe she could get a smaller unit this year closer to my house. I was told by Terri immediately “honey we are all booked up”. I said okay, I would call her back re: possible cancellation altogether. I called her back to cancel and she told me there were other properties available and if I was interested. That was a bit confusing as I was told the day before that the properties were in fact “all booked up” I preceded to tell her we needed to cancel and Terri informed me she needed it in writing and to reply to the email she sent me. She stated that we may not get the deposit back unless someone else rents it, I stated I understood and I complied with that request. A few days later I talked to her and she said she would need the full months rent and that she was wrong. I stated that I complied with everything she asked me to do and she began yelling at me on the phone, to the point where I had to hang up on her. Her unprofessional behavior and conduct is just rude and uncalled for.

We really appreciated the updates from Luna Beach Properties, after Hurricane Sandy came thru in 2020. Our unit building had major damage. Knowing what date we would be allowed in was critical in our plan to travel to Gulf Shores.

It showed us how much the LBP team values their clients. We highly recommend anyone wintering on the Gulf Coast to use Luna Beach Properties.

Beware of booking this place unless you don’t care about customer service and professional staff! Long rant, but the bottom portion is where the issue starts. We booked this place on 11/7/20 and on 11/20/20 I received a phone call stating that the elevator was malfunctioning and the part would not be in until after my stay. I was told they would be refunding my money and they apologized for the inconvenience. My stay was supposed to start on 11/25 so this was fairly inconvenient as we had numerous people in my group booked at other locations nearby. I received a follow on call a few minutes later stating that I bought insurance and they could not refund me and that I had to go through the insurance for the refund. After receiving an email, I called them back and questioned that since they cancelled my trip, was I going to be entitled a refund on my insurance money as well. Terri said “yes.” The insurance refused my claim as it did not meet their criteria so I contacted Terri again at Luna Beach and explained the situation. They quickly executed a partial refund (all the money minus the insurance). This is where the customer service and professionalism goes down the drain. I spoke with Terri that night and questioned why I didn’t receive the money for the insurance I paid. She said that her company is not “allowed” to issue a refund on insurance and I was “lucky Luna Beach Properties issued any type of refund because they are not obligated to.” She stated it was my decision to leave the property because I didn’t ask if I could still stay there with no working elevator. She did not give me an option to stay there as she said she was going to cancel my stay and that I would have to find another place. I would of gladly stayed at this location and took the stairs due to having to find a place away from others that already had bookings in the area. All of this was a heated conversation with the most disrespectful and unprofessional person I have dealt with in a long time. I asked for her boss’ contact and she said I could call her the next day and she would see if her boss was available to speak with me. I didn’t call back because obviously if she treated me like this, she has done it numerous times (look at other negative comments) and it must be a culture of this organization.

My wife and originally booked a 3 bedroom house with a fenced in backyard so we could take our little furry buddy. Unfortunately we received a call 5 days before our check-in that it would not be ready due to repairs. My wife was crushed and so was I as its our anniversary. Reggie Unfortunately had to deal with my initial attitude and for that I'm sorry. She was quick to reassure us that they are trying everything to find a solution.

A couple back and forth calls between us and they were able to find a solution that worked out for us thus saving the trip! We were no longer able to take our furry friend but they went above and beyond to find us a solution and even went as far as giving us a card and lunch on them for the inconvience. They worked a couple of hours past their closing time to help us out.

Thank you so much Reggie and everyone at Luna Beach Properties to make us feel better and going above and beyond what you needed to do to get us a place to stay.

We will be booking with them for all future reservations and are already looking forward to next year.
