RUNNNNNNNNN!!! DON’T DO IT!

When the local Dallas Leasing Office was opened, it ran so smoothly. I was a resident with MS Renewal for 4 years. After Covid, it went downhill, the local office closed and you had to go through the main office to speak with people that you barely understand. I had slab leak in May that they kept giving me the run arounds about. I had to go outside and turn the water on/off at the main valve. My utilities bills skyrocketed and they promised that they would do an adjustment. Here it is December and I’m still trying to get my money back. I was out of thousands dealing with MS Renewal’s home and my utilities. Each time I reach out, “they’re reviewing it”. Do yourself a favor and go find an honest management company or private landlord. It’s not worth the headache!

Picture attached is the first patch up job from the 1st water leak in 2021. Yes, that big hole was left open for
days at a time. I had to call them complaining about how unsafe this hole by the house was to my children. They assured me the water leak was fixed.

Today is my move in day. I was told that the extremely high grass in the backyard would be cut, the AC unit would be fixed, and the dirty carpet would be taken care of. Have any of these things been resolved? No. Our main property is under contract to sell, and we are building our new mansion in the Texas area. We figured we'd rent from Main Street until the construction is complete. This experience has been beyond dreadful. From waiting on hold for an hour with each call, them giving my agent the run around, to giving us the keys to a house that is not move in ready. I have children and there is no way I am staying in a house without a working AC unit. Today I sent my demand letter, and I will sue them if the issues are not resolved.

I can’t say enough great things about Joe D He is incredibly professional, reliable, and knowledgeable. Everything we had an issue with, he handle quickly and ensures that everything is resolved efficiently. I am extremely disappointed, me and my family literally just moved in a week ago, and this house was full of bugs, spiderwebs, we were told someone would come by to clean and get it move in ready. No one came. on the stove There were white stuff coming from the microwave vent, no one came by to wipe anything down, no floors were cleaned Completely dirty had to mop OVeR three times. And the carpets were left horribly. we have two little kids, one who still craws on the floor. and we’re trying to settle in and we still cannot. We’ve been waiting for them to respond back to at lease get the carpet cleaned/ replaced what ever so we can start putting thing in there places in the rooms.instead they sent a request in for a useless problem when every other request has been major. They literally sent someone over to tell us some thing they could’ve pick up the phone to say instead of wasting their gas. The trashcan was disgusting, they never threw it out. Whatever was in there caused maggots and flies all throughout both bins that ended up flying into the home similar to fruit flies, which they might have been. We had to personally bomb the home twice to get rid of them. Roaches popping out of nowhere. The home has been spot painted a horrible job. You see fingerprints of whoever was here, children’s writing. The carpet has bubble gum on the floor. They didn’t even have the audacity to try to clean the carpet after having so many people view the home. I am extremely frustrated and upset that they cannot do their job. To help there tenets at lease have a good start. The garbage disposal, not working, and also caused the flood in the sink. Grease marks all in the kitchen. We honestly just need to speak to corporate because this is not how a new move-in should be coming into their home.

Joe our Maintenance Man was spectacular he fixed the lightning on the front porch, the lighting in the ceiling fan. He has great attention to detail got us a new chandelier he replaced the entire thing how thoughtful of him! Very pleased with his services thank you Joe.

Do not waste your time or money with any properties under Main Street Renewal. Zero communication, everything is automated, it's an act of Congress to get a human on the phone. When I finally did get someone on the line, absolutely worthless, hung up on me only to be told I hung up when I called back. Worst customer service. I don't understand how a business can be ran with automated, robot texts. The phone # directs to a website which directs to an app or text. I was promised a phone call back in 24 hours and it's been 5 business days with ZERO communication. Meanwhile, the pool is completely unsanitary and continues to get worse. Highly recommend GOING ELSEWHERE to rent. Overpriced rent. The house is not up to standard with other homes in the market rent area. I definitely should have paid more attention to the low reviews before signing a lease. Don't make the same mistake, go elsewhere.
*** 5/5-Update, I still have not heard from anyone. As you can see, the pool is completely disgusting now. Could have been prevented with regular routine maintenance.

This has been the worst experience! I couldn’t view the property before moving in because none of the keys worked. I sighed the lease any ways and Move in day I couldn’t even get into the property. It’s been a week later and I still have not gotten my keys. My appliances are still not here. I’m here without a stove and fridge. Customer service is horrible! I keep getting the run around. I have taken off multiple days for work order and no one has showed up. They said it will be a $100 charge if no one is home. I can’t keep taking off when they are not showing up. It’s no communication! They keep rushing me off the phone with no answer to any of my questions. Hell no! Do not lease with them. Then the place was nasty as hell! There was shit all over the bathroom bugs every where 🤦🏾‍♀️

Months later im still dealing with bull shit! Being over charged and they have nothing to say about it!
