I lived here for a year in 2018 and loved it. Thinking back on all the places I rented around LA over the last 8 years, this was one of my favorites. The area is safe, clean, and quiet, I never heard my neighbors, and the apartment was good quality. I would live here again if it was near my work.

If you want to live in an Community with good people and an Manager who listens to you and cares about you, this is the place to live. The manager Katie and her husband are two amazing humans who care about others needs and are always read to listen and help you with anything they can. I just would like to express my gratitude for them.

ATTN: All future applicants
The mgmt here is unprofessional!! I had found the listing in Zillow for a 2BR/2Bath unit and tried multiple times to contact Harrison properties by phone. No one ever answers!! I left voice msg and received NO response. After multiple calls, finally I sent a message to the listing thru Zillow and only after I requested to schedule a showing, then prop mgr (Katie) was responsive. After I visited the property to view the unit, the overall unit was not bad but unfortunately the toilets are old from the time the property was finished (1988) and in disgusting condition. Although, I was ready to apply/qualify for tenancy on the condition if the landlord would install updated toilets. The showing agent replied very unlikely and after when I msg the prop.mgr to inform her I had viewed the unit and was ready to apply/secure the unit for move in (end of Jan/begin Feb), the prop mgr replied explaining to me the unit is offered as in condition and the unit was applied for and approved by mgmt for another applied client. This visit was a WASTE of time!!! The prop mgr neglected to inform me of the current approved application of other party and was ready to secure the unit over the wknd. They want 2023 rates for 35 yr old property (@$2700) and expect clients to accept the unit as is with decrepit (water inefficient) toilets. In unit laundry and other large appliances are all old from 1990's. You can find much better updated/modern units in Calabasas or near by for similar rates. Why pay 2023 rates for 30+yr old property with decrepit plumbing fixtures? Im not a large person and immediately found the tubs to be extremely narrow, the bath sinks/vanity cabinet fixtures are low qlty and same age as the toilets. All kitchen appliances are old/small and landlord/mgmt refuses to update. The only update I seen was the laminate flooring. Bc doesnt cost much to replace few used/visibly worn plank strips and wash the carpeting. Most other near by props (condo/apt) have updated kitchens/baths and overall modern aesthetics. Save yourself the headache/time and find better near by in Cal or Cal adjacent.
