Beware of this company if you are going to rent from them. I lost my key on Sept 24 and still unable to get anyone in the office or the upper management to meet at the office and get me a key. No they don’t have power, but it doesn’t take power to open the door and get me a key so I can have one made. Now they ware wanting to give me a key and be charged $25…..I cannot even get into my house and I’m paying rent. Also make sure when you sign a year least that your dates are correct on the contract because you will be required to stay 13 months and end up paying extra fees to Rhino….. same issue happened with the pool fob, I asked for key in Nov and it took till August to get that, had issues with heat and air system and was told that the issue with bathroom being so cold was because it was on the side of the ac unit. Downstairs was staying a lot colder than upstairs with thermostat set on the same temp. Took 7 months to finally send out someone to fix the issue after i complained so much. Wasn’t what the property management said either, issue was up in the attic. Dishwasher broke took 3 or 4 trips for maintenance to fix that.Upper management tells you his team handles all the issues. I have all emails where one person the office says one thing then the other person tells you completely different. I would not recommend this rental company to anyone….

I had an okay experience renting from marchant. They charged me $450 for landscaping after our lease a d property access had expired. I also had an extremely dirty home and unkempt lawn upon move-in. All of which became our problem.

Marchant is honestly a joke. I rented a house from them for about two years and had lots of issues that were never addressed. They bump up the rent every year for “maintenance” and never fix anything. The guy they send out is just some dude in a truck and he just says he doesn't know the issue. I could hear an animal living the walls and they didn't do crap. We later found termites hatching every spring and the property manager said they were “flying ants”. Please don't give a five star review just because you moved in. Initially they'll be nice and helpful because they want your money and then once you're in the property, they won’t bat an eye.

For any property owners, don't trust them. They don't properly maintain anything and will brush away major concerns from their tenants.

*Also they hid the taped cracked window when we moved in. They sent someone out to look at it and the landlord decided he didn't want to fix it. ?

Marchant Properties is constantly striving to be number 1. As far as I'm concerned, they are well on their way! Not many companies would pay every month just to have their business practices scrutinized looking to find the smallest detail that could be improved upon. Kudos to Marchant! They've got my vote! I won't think twice about renting from them!
