When I called Lumsden Real Estate I was skeptical about needing a realtor however I wasn’t having very good results marketing my house on my own. Matt & Erica came to my house and met with me and my wife, they were very knowledgeable and honest about what we should expect to get from using a realtor versus not and about asking the right dollar amount that was realistic and one you could live with. In the first week we were getting inquiries and appointments to show, we had a couple of unrealistic offers and then before we knew it we had a buyer, we are now in the process of building our dream home and we can thank Matt & Erica Lumsden from Lumsden Real Estate for helping make that dream come true. Erica and Matt were wonderful to work with. Very professional and friendly. Erica helped me through the process of selling my dad’s home after he passed away and only went as fast as I wanted to. I worked with Matt (and Erica) on the sale of my condo in Essex and the purchase of a home in Jericho. Both were very responsive and professional at all times throughout the 10-12 week process. I initially chose Erica and Matt to represent me and sell my home because I knew Erica personally. I also knew that the two were Essex Junction residents and knew the area well. It was an added bonus that they are located right up the road from me, so any needs I had, they instantly met. Erica and Matt were wonderful in helping me with the sale of my home. Perseverance & Professional! Our first property sale this spring in Montpelier was a success because of Matt & Erica. Highlights would include:
- Multihomed sale at the same time
- Slogging through a foot of snow to take pictures of the home
- 3-week sickness in the family caused a delay

Erica Lumsden and Matt Lumsden were wonderful! They were so helpful and professional. Erica really knows how to market a house! I had people looking at my house within hours of it being listed, and the house was under contract two days after it was listed. I'd never sold a house before so I really appreciated their patience explaining things to me and guiding me every step of the way. They made sure everything was done correctly and timely. When I moved they even let me use their moving truck so I didn't have to rent one. I would highly recommend them to anybody looking to buy or sell a home.
