Deserves 0 stars. Matt was unfortunately the seller’s agent with the house we just purchased in Inwood, WV. Matt made the process as delayed and miserable as he could. Matt took over 3 days to advise his client of our offer during the initial process. There were a few offer/counteroffers that Matt continually delayed. Matt continually ignored our realtors phone calls and texts during the process. Matt’s office sent over an invoice for remaining propane in a tank left at the house approximately 12 hours prior to closing. Throughout the process, I did not meet one person that had anything nice to say about him.

Overall, I would suggest staying away from Matt as there are much better options in the area.

Matt Ridgeway reached out to us in November 22, 2022 regarding an expired MLS listing, wondering if he could assist in the sale. I spoke to him on the phone on Feb. 29, 2024. He researched while we talked... 1.53 acres, not in the flood plain, near the Potomac River, etc. Then I never heard back from him. I called again on April 6, 2024 and he said we could maximize the sale by splitting it into 3 parcels. Then radio silence. I called again and left a message. I never heard from him again. Not even to say I'm not interested.
