Applied to rent a unit at The Highlands in Las Vegas. Was denied because my credit dipped below 600 and was told by a hostile manager that the fee will not be refunded. The property management refuses to answer my calls and I am beyond frustrated that I just got completely ripped off for $100 for absolutely nothing. I’m guessing this is your regular scam.

I live on a property in Las Vegas. As a senior citizen I am not real pleased. I have seen several senior citizens having to move because of fixed income. I am one who is currently struggling because my rent has sky rocketed to a point I am now way behind on 3 bills. This apartment is absolutely not worth the 1500 I pay. In which that is also half of my disability pay. 1/8 inch vinyl flooring directly on concrete is not good enough for people who are a fall risk. If something doesn’t change for the better I will be homeless. This is no way to treat people. The pool use to be open till closer to Oct and now it closed Labor Day weekend. If don’t want to be another homeless veteran on the street. It is already bad enough that the veteran homeless outreach gets 20 to 30 veterans everyday. The list goes on.
