I'm a tenant at a property manager by McCarthy associates. This is what I've been living with for two months. I am at risk for black mold because of their repeated negligence in maintaining the property, and their previous fixes were insufficient. This problem was supposed to be fixed shortly after I moved in. That was two months ago. I now likely have to find a new place to live because they won't even talk about fixing it until January. I'm sure if Mr. McCarthy was living here and dealing with this, he wouldn't like that answer.

Happy to change my review if they stop ignoring me and come do their job.

Avoid at all costs! Jerry is the worse property manager our building ever had and we had some bad once. He is lazy, manipulative, ignores emergency situations such as leaks. Simple things such as requesting a plumber are extremely difficult for him to arrange. He would rather ask the board to vote on changing rules than pick up the phone and send you a plumber. It took days of endless emails and phone calls for me and the board members to have my ceiling leak fixed, even though it was leaking badly. Now he won't even send a handy man to fix the hole. We emailed him and all he said "I will schedule", a week later I emailed again to follow up his response was "Refer to my previous email". Unbelievable level of professionalism. How they are still in business I have no idea. To all board members out there - Trust me, HIRE SOMEONE ELSE!!!

This property management company is beyond awful. Jerry is one of the biggest low lives I have ever come across. 10’s of thousands of dollars missing from reserve, not responding to anyone when they need help. Never calls back, and does the grimiest things a person can do. I am shocked the man isn’t behind bars yet…..NEVER EVER EVEN THINK OF HIRING THIS MANAGMENT COMPANY.

As a realtor, investor, and condo owner I highly recommend McCarthy Associates. They are easy to reach by telephone. They are quick to fix problems. Furthermore their referrals are excellent and not expensive.
