The property is nice and spacious. I live in the 3 bedroom 2 bathroom with the garage below, in Crestview Apartments. The maintenance team is quick to respond to urgent issues and calls in general. Cindy the on-site property manager has always been great at dealing with any issues we have had and very quick to get the maintenance team involved if needed. I have to say, Cindy has been the nicest and most personable property manager that I have ever dealt with in my 20 years of renting properties in either WV or Virginia.

Please NEVER live at a metro property. Especially this one. I had a wasp infestation, about 10 wasps a day in my bedroom for MONTHS and I have the pictures to prove it. I slept on my couch for weeks afraid to sleep in the bedroom. And they would spray outside of the apartment and insisted "we don't know what else we can do for you" I told them I thought they were coming in the attic and they said they wouldn't go up there. I asked them to call an exterminator. They said no. I had to contact a local lawyer to pursuit legal action. I had called them 5 times to discuss this problem. This went on for months and I was stung 4 times inside my bedroom. I finally decided to leave and they kept giving me problems. Canceling my automatic payment and then telling me I was late on rent.. they told me I was late on rent again even AFTER i moved out (when I no longer owed them anything). They don't want to help you, they truly don't care, no one takes any problems seriously unless it is textbook (leaky faucet, anything they know how to do). If you want more information I'd be happy to tell you more. Just please don't live here, I wouldn't wish it on anyone.

I have lived at Hall Vally for over 7 years. I've found that the office personal are always friendly and the maintenance crew are polite and respectful. CINDY IS MY FAVORITE, we once worked together and have always had something to joke and talk about. So she is a 5 star employee in my book.

We are an older couple with high income and we were approved for a 3 bedroom, 2 bath unit at Crestview. Andy was very nice when showing us the property and we met Cindy at our unit when we inspected it and picked up some leasing information. We have cats and I told Cindy that my daughter visits me for walks and has a German Shephard (Which is not allowed on the property), but Cindy told me if I kept her on a leash from her car to the inside of my apartment, then I probably would be ok, (probably).
But when we read the leasing contract, we were shocked at these ridiculous rules. If there is a pet on the property AT ALL that is not registered with the office (they physically take the picture of the pet), they will remove the pet immediately and you will be fined one month’s rent. Most violations are fined one month’s rent.
If there is a car parked in the parking lot without their sticker in the back glass, they WILL have it towed- no specification in the lease about a time frame for a car allowed for visiting. It is written in the 29-page contract that “parking is a privilege”- taking away owners’ rights.
According to their contract, the renter has NO RIGHTS- seriously, they have you sign that you cannot sue them.
It is written in the contract that any employee has the right to enter your space, that you’ve paid good money to lease, at any time- without notice, whether you are home or not.
It is in writing that the contract is legally binding and no verbal agreement is recognized- so don’t take anyone’s word that anything will “probably” be alright.
A lot of the contract is written as “landlord’s opinion”- meaning the landlord decides if your space is clean enough (if not, they reserve the right to evict you immediately- according to their lease). If the landlord decides that your car is junky, then you have no right to park your car there. It’s all in writing!
We didn’t even finish reading the 29 pages of nonsense, but if you plan to lease from this company, be sure to read every line before you sign or initial. There are a lot of things in that contract that a sane person would never sign away their rights. Read, Read, Read!
The contract sounds like section 8 housing. Is that where you’re willing to spend your hard-earned money?
