The overall area is quiet and extremely well maintained and clean and maintenance is quick to respond. I’ve lived here twice and second time around was not as great. During the warmer months you get a lot of flies in your apartment. I had fly traps plugged in every room. If you live under a rowdy family good luck because you hear everything and my upstairs neighbors allowed toddler children to run around until 2 am. They dragged things. Banged things. Stomped. Screamed and yelled. And it seemed as though property management might have spoken with them but that is as much as they will do. The right to peaceful living in your lease really means nothing. Move out charges are outrageous. $220 for cleaning. I couldn’t clean on way out because I had back surgery. I do not dispute being charged for the service but you certainly don’t get $220 worth of cleaning. When I moved in I had to go over the floors twice with my floor cleaner. They charge around $180 for carpet cleaning. No dispute on being charged for the service but two small bedrooms certainly doesn’t rise to that amount. Another $180 or so for “partial paint” . I was told there were scuff marks. I did not get pictures of it and that did not come up in the walk through. There were not many scuff marks; not even a handful and whatever there was could have been wiped off and if not, certainly not worth that much to paint over. It Would not have required even a quarter gallon paint which is certainly not worth that much especially when their own maintenance would do the work. When I pointed that out and asked that they consider partial return of those monies they would not.

Paisley was amazing! She gave my girlfriend and I a great tour of the property and the floor plans that were available. She was so friendly, welcoming and knowledgeable! Best tour we have had since we started apartment hunting. She should be a realtor/real estate agent.

Israel (Izzy) and Garet installed our new washer/dryer, that we’ve been waiting a long time for and did a great job! If it wasn’t for Izzy noticing the terrible smell coming out of our vents due to our old washing machine we’d still be waiting for a new unit. He noticed it right away and put in the order to get ours replaced ASAP. They worked fast and clean and even made friends with our puppers. Thank you guys! Doing laundry now is just better!

I moved in about two weeks ago. Debbie has been excellent and always available for any questions during the transition of my living situation. The community is safe where I feel ok to walk my dog at night. Plenty of amenities, beautiful park and trail to enjoy, a villa like environment. It does not feel like an apartment here. The residents here have been super friendly, everyone says hi. If you’re lost, someone is always willing to help. I really wish the restaurants and Shops were open more often, it’s a convenience having them nearby. I would totally go when I’m off work especially weekends. I work from home due to COVID, like many. The only downside is, kids can get really loud while playing outside where the sound picks up during my zoom calls in the afternoon (even with windows closed). So I try to schedule meetings to mornings to avoid the play rush hour. Other than that, fantastic place, perfect weather and wonderful people. Love it!

When we initially moved in there were several maintenance issues that were finally resolved and in a reasonable time. Thank you Izzi and Garet for the great customer service and always with a smile! If you are considering a move, I would highly recommend this community with all the amenities and leasing office hospitality with Sam, Miriam and Jessica. And it's just minutes from Old Town, the Outlets, the coast and the Ventura Harbor Marina!

When the new apartments started renting I was concerned that our maintenance requests wouldn't be addressed in a timely manner. I looked but didn't see additional maintenance staff around and discovered that no new maintenance had been hired adding to my worries. I know that these guys stay incredibly late and work extra days and hours to keep up but they do a great job, my worries were unfounded because they bust their butt no matter what!

Izzy at Mission Hills has been oh so helpful from the day I moved in. Very kind and patient with my ocd type repairs. Always has a smile on his face with willingness to help out! Very quick and efficient. I’m extremely happy with my new move to Mission Hills Apartments 🙂
